I got my 750L about 10 months, 3600 miles ago. It was pretty far gone due to neglect and abuse, but had been stored inside and was low mileage. The charging system was fried by over amperage jump offs. The pristine looking gas tank soon split at the seams from condensation rusting. Shocks, fork seals, exhaust system, all upper end gaskets, chain, sprockets, brake line, and tires were also bad. Yet it ran and kept running during it's resurrection. It runs great, gets 47mpg average, looks great, and handles beautifully even two up and loaded with gear. The seat and seating position is very comfortable for both rider and passenger. It only weighs a little over 500lbs. It's a simple design that's easy to work on. It's a one year only model and a classic design that's still in use today in a modified version. I posted my review in the 750K page not realizing that their was a page for the limited edition. What makes the limited edition so special anyway? It is my first bike and it is in near original condition. How much can I get for this bike which I bought from my brother in law, who keeps telling me that he's sorry that he sold it and he wants first chance at getting it back should I decide to sell. I find that it handles and rides great for a twenty-one-year-old bike. It is the first time that I was on a bike, so I can only wonder how it compares with a newer bike. If anyone out there has some suggestions on how I can improve the looks and anything else on my bike , I would appreciate some e-mails. I'm thinking of adding a windshield, can this be done? I own a 1979 CB750K LTD 10 year Anniversary Edition model Honda restored to 98% of its original condition and it's worth at LEAST $2500.00 anywhere.....I've been offered $3500.00. At 20 years old, a vintage classic, it's worth more than a thousand bucks......gimme a break !!! Show less
