The power is overwhelming. As much as you want, ever. Make sure you have new tires, always. Make sure your shocks and springs are up to date. Risers on the handlebars, even at 6 feet tall, are great for long cruises. I have taken it across the country twice. Great machine, totally reliable. Show less

This was my first bike and I loved it. I quickly outgrew the 650cc engine, but it took a while. The only problem I had was a warp near the top end cylinder gasket which started to leak oil. I would recommend this bike to anyone who is just starting to ride and is on a budget. It won't let you down. Show less

I bought this bike for $600 in running condition with 30k on the clock. After some new tires and a tune-up, I have a great running bike that does everything I could ask of it. I just installed a jet kit, pod filters, a Kerker header and some drag style handlebars and this has shot the fun factor through the roof. I've had lots of bigger bikes, but this may be one of the most fun ones I've had. If you want a comfortable, dependable, nice looking bike for under $1000, I highly recommend one of these. OVERALL I AM HAPPY WITH THIIS BIKE !!! I AM CONCERNED ABOUT MY ALMOST MINT WITH 8000 MI. IT HAS A HIGH SPEED SHIMMMY THAT INCREASES WITH DURATION AT THAT SPEED WHICH WILL DEVELOP INTO AN ALMOST UNRECOVERABLE CYCLICALSHAKE FROM FRONT TO BACK!!! I HAVE HEARD THAT THIS BIKE IS FAMOUS FOR THIS !!! DOES ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THIS OR HOW TO CORRECT IT ??? MY LOCAL SHOP HAS HEARD IT ALL FROM ME ON THIS TO NO AVAIL . THEY DO KNOW THAT THIS IS TRUE THOUGH AS THEY WITTNESSED ME DO AN AMAZING RECOVERY FROM A VERY SCARY 88MPH DEMONIC SHAKE . THE BIKE HAS NEW DUNLOP QLUALIFIERS AND HAS BEEN INSPECTED THOUGH THEY HAVENT HEARD OF THIS BEFORE... OTHER RIDERS I HAVE MET ON THE ROAD WILL READILYL ASK IF I HAVE THIS PROBLEM. I just got this bike not too long ago and so far it just keeps getting better with everything that I do to it. It has a lot of potential in the way of performance parts--you just have to dig to find them. I would recommend this bike as a good beginner bike at a cheap price. It'll get up and go without a hitch as long as she's nice and warm but, hey, isn't everything like that. There is actually a webring for it and the 750 that's all they deal with and it's quite surprising what you can learn can be done to it. Show less
