This bike is a real sleeper. The engine performance is unreal. The bike is totally restored with everything that can ware new. Totally disassembled and painted with red and silver House of Kolor flake with eight coats of PPG 220 speed clear. Due to the increased displacement of 1410cc, the fuel injection has been reprogrammed, larger adjustable pressure regulator and larger injectors. 11.5:1 compression with Weisco pistons. Web cams, lightened crank, close ratio gears, the works. Over 200HP. A real Busa tormentor.

Picked her up a couple of years ago rotting in a yard. She's now completely redone back to stock except for the paint scheme. Out of all the bikes I've rebuilt, this remains my favorite. Picked her up a couple of years ago rotting in a yard. She's now completely redone back to stock except for the paint scheme. Out of all the bikes I've rebuilt, this remains my favorite. Incredibly powerful motor for the time and even still by today's standards. Not great handling or power at low throttle but roll it on and look out, she keeps coming, willing to play at any level you want to go to. Give her another five years and she'll match the 73 Z1 in value as well. Far and away one of the best street bikes Kaw ever made.

I love it guys will think ah that thing is nothing its old. Yes its old but it's all motor. I smoke them every time. Mostly they keep on ridding or turn off in embarrassment. I am working on the handling package and looking for a Fork Brace still. The motor is good but the suspension needs updating big time it gets squirrelly on a 100mph turn. Anyhow everything else is working computer fuel injection. It's a great bike. The only complaint is it has vibrations of a 600.

Recently purchased the GPZ1100 - 1983 and am quite impressed with its more than medium handling and early big block punch. Also, I am more than impressed with its technology of its time - i.e.: many built in safety features. Have ridden many new machines but this one is still worth considering - but this one...

Also, I am more than impressed with its technology of its time - i.e.: many built in safety features. Have ridden many new machines but this one is still worth considering - but this one is still one for the collection! It is a good, strong, fast comfortable bike - worth the going price - if its a good one!!

Never a problem, and as much power as expected for a 550. This is one trouble free bike I've had for many years....
