Just bought this bike, and after 10 years she looks and rides like new. These bikes really do hold up very good over the years, was saving up for a Road King...and for less than the down payment I own this bike. The 99 looks just like the 09 so when I ride with my friends this bike looks good next to a new Road Star or Harley. The ride is great, put some new Dunlops (white walls) on her and she just goes like a new bike. The stock seat is just fine for around town....I am going to have it shaped to get me lower and further back.

This is my first bike I've owned, and after riding Harleys that friends and family have, I've got to say this is one of the most comfortable bikes to cruise on. It could use something more on the highway, but overall for everyday use, it can't be beat. I've put over 4,000 miles on it last summer,... read more

It could use something more on the highway, but overall for everyday use, it can't be beat. I've put over 4,000 miles on it last summer, and have had it out a few times during some warmer winter days. It has great styling, great value, great comfort and is a GREAT BIKE.

In my opinion this bike was among the most gorgeous production bikes ever created but it was several inches short on wheel base. Great for smaller riders but the powerful engine on this thing could've stood to be scaled up a good deal. I loved mine and wish now that I'd kept it just to stare at. It... read more

Great for smaller riders but the powerful engine on this thing could've stood to be scaled up a good deal. I loved mine and wish now that I'd kept it just to stare at. It would've made a terrific centerpiece in my living room. Lol!

Can't say enough good about this bike!!! Beautiful red paint job and pipes turn heads. I ride through ISU campus and make some noise and get a lot of looks all spring and fall! Plentiful parts in the aftermarket world! HAVE FUN MAKE IT YOUR OWN!

I got this bike in April 2005; it is now October 2005 and I've got to say this bike simply R O C K S! I've ridden all the way from the Carolinas to Indiana, several trips around the Midwest, including the Upper Peninsula of Michigan via Northern Wisconsin. I cannot express how satisfied I am with this bike. It is very responsive, comfortable and massive! I survived a crash in the Cherohala skyway (yeppers, my fault), but was still in good shape to ride 400 miles back to Indiana, despite minor cosmetic damage. I am working on getting a new windshield and crash bar, which were damaged in the accident. BUY this bike, you won't regret it. PERIOD!

I've been riding since 1977 and this is my 3rd bike and by far the best. It has more than enough power and to me it is a great looking bike. It doesn't weigh a ton like some of these newer cruisers and in some people's opinion it's not very pretty like but like the song says (she might be ugly but she sure can cook). I bought it used with only 942 miles on it and haven't had any problems. From all the articles I've read the bike is pretty much bullet proof. I get snubbed by the (want a be) biker Harley crowd but that's okay because from what I have observed, most of their riding is done on the couch or bar stool. I paid $4000 for my bike and only someone not in there clear mind would pay the highway robbery prices they pay for their scooters.
