1999 Yamaha Virago 250 Cruiser reviews

I have just completed a 6800 Km tour on the above bike although a 98 not a 99 model. Economy was approx 30 kms per litre at cruising speeds of 100- 110 kms per hour. The bike corners well and handles all road conditions with ease. It is very good in city traffic and the comfort level is very good. Tends to be a bit light when being passed by heavy trucks but one soon learns to handle this situ by leaning forward slightly into the wind when passing them. Although lacking the power of the bigger road cruisers, for the economy minded and slightly older persons who find the bigger and heavier bikes a bit much, then this is the bike for you.
