I can't say enough about what a great bike this is. It is comfortable, economical, extremely reliable, and everything is in the right place. In 46,000 miles in about three years the bike has been in the shop for a repair ONCE. Sure, I've done all the usual maintenance: brakes, tires, fluids, plugs and all that; but it has broken down exactly once in 46,000 miles, for an oil leak. It can't get much better than that. Put Kuryakyn grips on and the V-twin vibes don't bother your hands. Put a driver backrest on and windshield and watch fatigue on long rides go away. I'll keep this one until I wear it out.

I cruise with a buddy who rides a Goldwing and everyone walking by comments on my Ace, not his Goldwing. Great bike just waiting for winter to end.

So far, I've owned it about 10 days and have logged about a thousand miles riding around mostly in the twisty mountain roads with buddies. I love the way it handles on the curves and the acceleration is very smooth on the take off. On the highways, it's really nice to be able to keep up with traffic and be able to pass cars when necessary. So far, the ride has been AWESOME.

IF YOU ENJOY TROUBLE FREE BASIC RIDING WITH SPACE TO PUT YOUR "STUFF", THIS IS THE MOTORCYCLE FOR YOU. I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH HER, OR ANY DISLIKES. THE ONLY REASON I TRADED WAS BECAUSE MY WIFE LIKED THE PASSENGER SEAT ON THE WING BETTER. THE SHADOW HAS A COBRA HIGHWAY BAR AND PEGS, COBRA FOOTBOARDS, A LUGGAGE RACK AND BACKREST, LEATHER TANK STRAP WITH TWO POCKETS, LED TAIL/BRAKE LIGHT BULBS AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BRAND REAR TURN SIGNAL CONVERTORS(LED RUNNING AND BRAKE LIGHTS IN THE TURN SIGNAL HOUSINGS.) REALLY, A GREAT RIDE.

THE ONLY THING I DID TO MINE SO FAR IS SADDLE BAGS AND DRAG PIPES. THE FACTORY PIPES ARE OKAY IF YOU WANT REAL QUIET. BUT IF YOU WANT THE THRILL OF THE ROAR, GO THIS WAY. THE BIKE HAS PERFORMED AWESOME. I haven't RIDDEN IN 10 YEARS OR SO. I FEEL LIKE A KID AGAIN, I'M NO SMALL GUY AND THIS BIKE HAULS ME REAL GOOD. I WENT TO PA THIS MONTH AND TOOK THE MOUNTIANS LIKE STORM. GAS MILEAGE IS GOOD. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GETTING ONE, I SUGGEST YOU GO FOR IT. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THIS BIKE.

I ride in a club with mostly Harleys. It is a showpiece. Every time I stop I am stroked about my Harley. The joke is on them I didn't pay the high dollar but I have the sound and I think better looks than the Harley. I can't wait till warmer weather to have it under me. I never ever see one for resale. I see plenty of Harleys. If you ever have one, you will not let it go. I want to thank Honda Motor Cycles for making a dream come true for me.

I ride primarily on highways and find that it has adequate power, is comfortable (I have put 400 miles on in one day) and sounds just loud enough to turn heads, but not enough to annoy. I am planning to change the current 41 tooth rear sprocket to a more highway friendly 39 tooth sprocket. This bike is dependable, economical and beautiful! What more can you ask for?
