BOUGHT A 99 VULAN CLASSIC PEARL AND WHITE, BEAUTIFUL BIKE, PEOPLE COMMENTED HOW NICE IT WAS ALL THE TIME, GOT MARRIED, WIFE SAID THE SEAT HURT HER ASS. SO SHE WENT OUT BOUGHT AN ELECTRA GLIDE CLASSIC H-D. SWEET ASS BIKE, BUT WHAT A TANK,CANT KNOCK THE HARLEY, BUT NOW THE WIFE DOESNT LIKE TO RIDE AT ALL. SO , GUESS WHAT? I SOLD THE HARLEY, GOING BACK TO MY TRUE LOVE, OR MAYBE A 1600. BUT I GOTTA TELL YA , I HAVE NEVER ENJOYED RIDING LIKE I DID WHEN I WAS RIDING A VULCAN. SUM IT UP. TORQUEY, TOUGH,TIGHT AND LOOKS JUST RIGHT.BEST BIKE I EVER RODE FOR ALL AROUND SATISFACTION, SO IF YOUR LOOKING, ILL SEE YA THERE PICKING OUT MY NEW VULCAN! PEACE.

This bike is awesome. Plenty of low end grunt, not too loud, very simple. The bike handles great, heel toe shifter & large brake pedal makes driving easier. Saddle fits like a glove. I added a removable backrest, passenger floorboards & a strut bag. This bike is everything I was hoping it wo...

I recently purchased my Vulcan and could not be more pleased. I have not ridden since selling my KZ 500 20 years ago. I looked at the Harleys(too much money and attitude of dealers),Victorys(test rode and did not feel comfortable). I had about decided maybe I did not need a bike that big when I rode a friends 1997 Vulcan 1500 and was sold. I bought the Classic for $8995. All the power in the world, great looks and after all the stuff I have added(sissy bar, saddle bags, windshield and exhaust) still many thousands under Harley. Glad I did not buy smaller bike. After a few rides on the back roads to get the feel again, it was like I never quit riding. If you are looking for a great motorcycle and don't care about the Harley image go buy a Vulcan.
