I bought my '03 M1000DS last September and rode it home the next day, clocking 500+ miles. It's not perfect but if you make mods (bars, seats, etc.) to make it fit you, you'll love the bike. This is my first bike and my first Ducati. I love this bike. I have had the bike for about 2 weeks and put over 150 miles on it. Plenty of power and great handling. I ride to work, play, and want to all day. The ride position is comfortable for a semi-long ride. I suggest getting one....

I am taking possession of the Multistrada which has the same motor so it should be one hell of a bike.
