Wow where to start? Raw power. I call mine The Beast! I bought mine used with 8,000 miles. The only upgrade added was the seats. I have short legs, my inseam is 28 inches to give you an idea. I have no problem at stops, both feet flat on the ground. I receive compliments/stares every ride. Handles like a drea...

Fell in love when I first saw it in all its Candy Flake Orange glory. Bought it new off the floor with 1.2 miles on it. A real bargain too, since it was an 03 model. New owners at the dealership, and they know what they are doing! This bike is beautiful. Where-ever I go I get comments on the color and sheer size. Just enough chrome, excellent paint, proper retro attitude. For a large-frame rider like me, it's perfect. I wish the seat was a tad cushier, but the ride height and angle is right on. Love the heel-toe shifter too. So far everything is perfect. The FI system is awesome for power all through the gears. This bad boy doesn't have a flat spot anywhere, power-wise! What a rush!

What a machine. Handles better than anything I have every driven. Was a little intimidated with its size and weight at first but after about 100 miles it was like "peas and carrots". I would agree with other reviewers that the seat could stand to be upgraded and I have found the high beam indicator is a little bright. Somewhat blinding when using a face shield. But this is nitpicking at its finest. The bike is a dream on the road with enough power to keep most other bikes behind you. I will add a tach since it should have one and I will add a sissy bar since my son would like one and I may add new pipes to give it just a little more growl.

I bought the bike one week ago and it's been cold and rainy since that day. The 120 mile trip home was awesome - smooth, powerful, and not effected by the wind. The only downfall I've found was the gas light coming on early. It's a little unsettling looking down and the light being on but still having a gallon and a half left in the tank. The cool part of it was all the looks and comments that I received while filling it up.

I really enjoy this bike but the seat left much to be desired. Bought an Ultimate seat, rider, and passenger with both backrests. Makes all the difference in the world. I marked the comfort level at 4 for the stock seat. Now it's as comfortable as my Goldwing....

Even Harley owners have been very impressed with the VTX quality, out of the box great look, the monsterous 1800 cc engine, fuel injection, etc. There is a noise from 1st to 2nd that is slightly louder than I would like, but other than that this bike is great. I am trying not to unleash all of VTX power, but I know it is just a matter of time before I blow away some fat boy.
