I am the one who traded this bike in. I traded for a Super Sport because I wanted to get into road racing in Birmingham. I was in the shop the other day and was tempted to buy the Katana back! It is a great all around bike. It is not the best touring bike, it is not the best sport bike, but it is the best of both worlds. The engine on the GSX750F is a tried and true bullet proof engine. This thing will run forever! I was able to hang with the guys on Super Sports on the street, but needed a lighter bike for the track. I would not hesitate to suggest this bike as a purchase for someone looking for a solid all around street bike.

I bought my GSX750 in July and already have 4500 miles on the clock. The Kat has performed flawlessly and has been everything I was looking for. It isn't a true 'sport' bike, but rather a VERY peppy Sport Tour bike. It fits much the same need as the Honda VFR or Fully Faired Yamaha FZ1 for less. The accessory...

It isn't a true 'sport' bike, but rather a VERY peppy Sport Tour bike. It fits much the same need as the Honda VFR or Fully Faired Yamaha FZ1 for less. The accessory availability is small but Corbin makes a great aftermarket saddle for it and Zero Gravity makes a couple of great aftermarket windscreens.

I got my Katana a liitle over 2 months ago and it is the first bike I have owned. It is deffinately a great bike even for someone without a lot of experience. I recently broke the 500 mile break in and was able to take it up to 9000 rpm, and WOW!!! I looked down, saw 120, and it didn't even feel like 80. Even...

Even for a big guy like me it still has plenty of power and a good handling bike. I love it!!

Wow, the Suzuki Katana 750 is just an awesome bike for the novice. It has great mid-range power, but it can step up and run with just about anyone in the 600 class, at least once you're up to speed. It is a great bike for a beginner, a little on the heavy side, but it will give the novice at least a couple of years enjoyment before moving up to something a little wilder, say, a GSX-R 1000? If you are an experienced rider and want real sport bike, pass on by. If you are a beginner and want a great, strong bike with enough performance to make you proud, this is the bike for you.

The bike is well suited for beginners and has enough power to be fun as you gain experance and confidence in yourself and the bike. I love to distance ride and have even done a 1000 mile Ironbutt ride on it. I also love to hit the twistes in north AR on a sunday after church.I can do 200 or more miles(about a tank of gas)in a long summer afternoon. You can get bikes with more H.P.and higher insurance but this one has the funfactor for less money!!
