What a great bike to get for a first Harley. The ride of this bike is awesome. Runs smooth down the road. Gets a lot of attention where ever I go with it. Will never own anything but a Harley the rest of my life. Vivid black and chrome all the way. Looks great!...

I've rode metrics for years also. I have vance and hines big radius and stage 2 air kit and rejetted. It rides great! I'm thinking about drag bars (old habits forward position). Good torque, feels strong till about 75 mph. Stops well but, it pulls left when you let go of bars and it coughs through the carb sometimes. It really turns heads with the pipes. It also vibrates a bit.

This is my first cruiser type bike. I had been looking to get a bike over the last 3 years. I went from wanting the Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha. But it was in the later part of 2005, I made the decision that I wanted to own a Harley. The last week in April, I got the Heritage Softail. Absolutely love the bike. I bought the bike to cruise and travel with. The only complication I have is the buzzing at and around 70-80 mph.
