It's been along time since I rode dirt and just bought 230crf bike and it's perfect for me to get back in the groove of riding a bike. Great power when needed and it's pretty fast. I'm happy with it. I bought it used and it started right up. No probelms yet....

Got this bike as a leftover in 08. Learned how to us a clutch on it...I love it. Really good beginner or a second bike. Great on trails - maybe going to race on it....

I love this bike. It's very comfortable and has a lot of power. It has a crazy powerband for doing wheelies in every gear. I would recommend a FMF Fatty Pipe and a FMF powercore 2. Also, get some V-Force reeds. If you do that the bike will be better than most 125s. It is also a great beginner bike....

I started riding 8 months ago. My 230 is my first bike. I have experience in pretty much all of the different riding conditions and I can honestly say that I've missed maybe three days of riding this machine during those eight months. It rides well (I've recorded 50 miles plus per day and the bike just rides awesome), it handles well (I've ridden with a CR125 and he couldn't keep up with me on the trails nor could a Yamaha 600 Enduro), and it has good power from the top to bottom. I've ridden my buddy's track with it and had no problem with the jumps (just stiffen the suspension). It's a very universal bike whether you want to cruise in third or fourth or rip it up. I recommend this bike to any one who is a bigger beginner to an experienced rider. 5 star rating.

I am a new rider and I started off on a 2000 Yamaha YZ 125 as my first bike. I went riding at Wayne National Forest with some friends who all ride four strokes. I quickly realized the advantages to having a four stroke in the majority of riding situations I was put through. After a few rides, I started researching four strokes. After a lot of research, I decided on the 2006 Honda CRF 250 X. After being on the trail for ten minutes this weekend, I realized I made the right decision. This bike handles extremely well, it is light, and is truly the ultimate trail machine. My friends are all envious of the electric start which worked perfectly and saved a great deal of energy by avoiding kick starting it. As I said before, I am a beginner and I missed a really sharp left hand turn and ended up in a four feet deep mud hole and my bike was entirely submerged in muddy water. After we got it out, I hit the electric start and presto! it started right up and I rode away as if nothing had ever happened. It rode strong for another fifty miles until we called it a day. I started it when I got home, just to make sure it was fine and it started right up again. This bike is bullet proof. Every penny I spent on it was worth it. I have ridden a lot of four strokes of different makes and models over the last month, and nothing compares to this bike. Now I just hope my skill level increases fast so I can really put this bike to the test.

This bike is so cool! It has massive power on the bottom and in the mid range. The top is a little flat but you can get around that with a 52 tooth sprocket. The bike is great in the corners and is straight as an arrow in the whoops. This is the best 250f made!...

This is the greatest Honda I've ever rode. It is on the border line between medium and fast. I give Honda 2 thumbs up. The bike is perfect for anyone over five feet. I can ride all day with the great shocks. The bike will last forever. It is tough! The bike is the best match for someone coming up from a smaller bike like a 50 or 100. If you are 5 ft tall you can tip toe two feet and flatten one. But overall this is a great bike and is definitely worth the money.

If you want to invest in an all around awesome trail, track and race Machine, then this is it! I am placing top spot in the Womens/Vintage Men classes, and I owe it to the speed and agility of the CRF250X. It loves to be airborne and suprises many to see that headlight flying around the race track!

I just got the '07 CRF100 for Christmas. It's got A LOT of torque and power for a 100. If I don't let up on the gas, when I shift it almost flips me off. It gets good air and the suspension is almost perfect, could be a little bit harder. I've had an '01 XR70 since I was 7 and it was good for a mess around bike and this was an ok step up, but I need a lot more power than this to ride how I want. I'm saving up to get the CRF250R or wait another year and get a 650 so I can ride in the streets.

I was skeptical at first but the salesman convinced this was the one for me. Great first bike and you don't really get bored of it. Great off roading fun and great starter.
