Having owned motorcycles since 1973, The Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider seems to be my favorite. It's fun to ride. Thr large easy starting fuel injected engine hasn't ever let me down. I didn't want to say that because I don't want to get jinxed. Anyway, from the comfort, smooth ride, and strong engine remains the top three attributes that come to mind. This beautiful motorcycle has been garage kept. Serviced and maintained regularly is very important to me. The appearance and functionality aspects are very similar to a new Harley despite the 16,500 miles It's traveled. As far as dependably, I would trust it today to travel anywhere in the 48 states. I have chosen to keep this Harley as stock as possible. The Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low is like it came brand new from the dealership except for the 16,500 miles she's been driven by only conservative adult riders. As father time is catching up to me, I've decided to allow a younger person take over the controls to enjoy what I have been blessed with. If you are someone you know is interested in a great bike at less than half price of a new one, have them look me up here or on Facebook.

I came across this o e at a Kawasaki dealer that had literally came out of a barn after sitting for 15 years and only 4700 miles. Absolutely filthy and beutiful at the same time. Pearl white and pearl cobalt blue. Cleaned up and reconditioned many oarts this bike is awesome. I could buy a new one with cash but it would not look andfeel like this one. A work of art and a true nostalgic experiance. Hard to explain but its awesome.

I love this bike and hate it about the same. Factory stock this bike soon needs rider pegs, grips, repairs. Had brand new since 2007 and we’re passing 54,000 miles together. You want to customize your bike anyway so when the pegs started sagging and the grips started becoming rubbery sticky is wasn’t a big deal. The first major thing was the engine stutter on acceleration. Found out the wiring harness didn’t allow for the engine torque stretched the rear injector connector and starts giving you rear injector open error code. My fender fluff and I are motor heads so we have started doing 100 percent of our own repairs. Took him in (yea his name is Dane) for the 10k and 20k but after costing about a grand to do the service and having to readjust the setup we like we are 100 percent home maintenance. Another problem since purchase is if we go over a mountain pass or have a major air temp/density change the bike will shut down and we have to off/on the emc to reset the engine electronics. A growling sound at idle and in neutral ended up being primary inner bearing failure. We’ve had nearly every imaginable problem and repair at 54k miles. A new set of tires every year that cost as much as 4 new tires for the car. We love to ride but man does it get frustrating at times. Fluff told me to shut up and ride so …… see ya out there

The Sportster 883 Low is a very good bike and very reliable. My favorite things about it is how it looks, low slung with the classy Harley Sportster Look. It gets better than 50 miles/gl on my short road trips through the country. It's easy to drive with its lower position with plenty of power with 1 passenger. I was more reserved with 2 passengers (usually my kids) so I didn't push it but it did fine. It's super easy to service and it's easy to switch from my single seat to the 2 Up Soft Harley Seat for changes in ride, comfort and style. The negatives about this bike is that on rough roads, it can be a bit of a rough ride. I think this is due to the Sportster Low having less travel in the shocks to give it the low profile. My single Indian Seat was fairly comfortable, but if I was riding for 30 minutes or more or the country road I was taking was rough, I switched out the seat for the Harley 2 Up soft seat. It's wider and has much more support making the ride much better and more enjoyable. The 2 Up Harley Soft Seat also allows me to slide back to the back seat when I want to stretch my legs while driving. The factory 2 Up seat can be made to a 1 Up seat so it looks cool, but the seat doesn't have much support so I didn't use that seat much. Overall, I love this bike. Very fun to drive around town and the country roads with good acceleration, light and easy to maneuver. I would definitely recommend it, but with the softer seat that Harley makes for this bike. Not the factory seat. :)

I bought my 2007 883C in late 2010 from a guy who stored it for three years (it was still like new). I've ridden it for a summer and a half so far with no complaints. It's an awesome bike. If you're a "large" fellow, you might want a bigger engine, but the 883 is PERFECT for me (5'10 and 190 lbs.). It accelerates like a rocket, has plenty of low-end torque and cruises at 75 mph. all day long. The rubber mount engine and fuel injection are great additions to the Sportster line. It's classic, has beautiful lines, great mechanics and a well-executed package of exhilaration. If you want to be hunched over a chainsaw, or ride a poser, buy a metric. If you're after a real cruiser and you're not dramatically overweight, pick up an 883C! The forward controls and laid-back handlebars help ensure a comfortable ride and the huge gas tank helps you put on the miles without stopping so often to fill up! I can't say enough good things about the 883C! It's got to be the best version of the Sportster ever devised!
