2007 Lambretta reviews

After dinking around with various vintage and undersized scooters, I determined that with most of them you'll spend way too much time replacing cables, spark plugs and voltage regulators and not enough time actually riding so I decided to give the new Lambretta a chance. As hoped it has been a turnkey ready ride with a zippy motor and light body (quite light). It's getting me in the vicinity of 80 mpg in stop-and-go riding and the larger wheels they come with and the Michelin tires are worth the extra couple bucks over the price of a mainland China scoot (not to mention the reliability). The acceleration and two disc brakes also impressive; not like most scoots. Show less
