I loved my Vino 125. It had the get up and go speed but it did start to drag after 45 mph. I had the top speed at 65 mph down hill, 50 up hill and 55 on the straight away. It's great for around town. I even took it on the highway for about 50 miles and had no trouble. It's a lot of fun. I traded it for a Majesty 400CC. I wanted more power but the Vino was enough power for me. It has great handling manuevers. It's excellent, it's just an easy riding bike and turns a lot of heads. Even the die-hard Harley fans loved my Vino 125. From 0 to 45 it has a lot of zip. I was getting about 80 mpg. I wish I never traded it. The Majesty was a great upgrade but didn't manuever like the Vino. I totalled the Majesty three weeks after I bought it. I wasn't used to the power difference. But in my opinion you can't go wrong with any Yamaha product. Plus Yamaha has no problem getting parts.

The more my wife and I ride it the better it gets. For a 250cc sized bike it is pretty peppy. I've had it up to 81mph and can cruise ALL day at 65mph with me on it. Also I often get 65 mpg. Over the past 6 years, I've owned and ridden a Honda Jazz (called Metropolitan in United States), for 4 years, and 3 different small, street motorcycles. After my last long motorcycle ride, I decided that I should maybe consider a scooter again, mainly because of the seating position, and comfort of the scooter versus a motorbike. I found the C3 and after a bit of research, bought a 2007 model, with just over 900km on it. I've only had it for a few days, but I already love it. Compared to the Honda Jazz (Metropolitan), it's got more pep, more storage, and looks overall larger, more in proportion with an adult rider. I am very happy with my decision to get the C3. I will post another review after I've had it for a while.

OK, here's the deal. If you are planning on getting a 250cc scooter then look everywhere you can for a new or used Morphous. This scoot is just head and shoulders above all the rest. It is quiet, handles great, corners with the best of them, is smooooth as glass and the most comfortable bike I've ever personally ridden or owned and that's been many. It's long wheelbase makes for a wide turning circle and is heavier than any other 250 that I know of but that's part of what gives it such a great ride and also you don't blow around on the highway. I've had my scoot up to 82 MPH with more throttle to go but I chickened out at that point. It moves quickly from a traffic light and for me has all the 'grunt' I'd ever need. Because it has such an original design be prepared to get stared at frequently and asked lots of questions. Such a shame Yamaha never properly tried to sell or advertise them here. If more people had known about them they'd still be bringing them into the USA.

I can hold tools and cameras and my iPod and riding gear plus still have extra room for groceries. This thing is so much fun and the quickest 50 factory-wise on the market. Keep up on tune ups and oil changes and this thing will run 50 miles per hour and bury the speedometer. The bike has great handling and is a good machine.

And I get from 55-59 MPG, so I ride it everywhere, unless I have to carry too much or the weather is crappy. And speaking of carrying stuff, the underseat storage is positively cavernous. I even ride my scooter to the grocery store and come home with at least 2 paper grocery bags worth of stuff!! It's a gas-and-go, so no shifting required. that's nice if you're like me and not coordinated enough to manage the shifter, clutch, brake, and throttle all at the same time.
