I’ve owned this motorcycle for 12 years. Never had an issue with reliability, performance is spectacular. Comfort level is a typical sport bike feel. I highly recommend this bike to somebody that has experience in riding something fast. Show less

I love this motorcycle. It has an amazing amout of power and tourqe. Its factory Harmon Kardon Stereo system sounds great even at high speeds. Extremely smooth comfortable ride, especially with the electronic cruise control. Just set your speed prop you're feet up on the highway pegs and turn up the music and just ride. Great on gas. I can drive over 300 miles on one tank. Steering stabilizer makes steering pretty much effortless. You won't disappointed with this bike. Very reliable and dependable. Show less

Beautiful bike, got the blue one. Put on a screaming eagle super sucker and a Vance and Hines short shots exhaust. Really gets a lot of attention with its looks and sound. Rides like a dream. Don't know why Harley-Davidson stopped production of this bike. Show less

Overall it's a great bike with some tweaks. Stock I could not stand the programing of the throttle and it was very jerky, and lack luster response which wasn't smooth with dead spots that felt like you were pulling an Airstream behind you. That all changed with a reprogram of the ECU . It is now how the bike should have been from Kawasaki! It pulls smooth without the flat spots. 6th gear is now very usable without it shaking and will pull smoothly from as low as 45 MPH. MPG is also much improved. Before I had to really nurse it to get 40. Now I consistently get in the low to mid 40's riding normal with a few harder accelerations . Comfort is very good and I have no problems doing long trips. The bags and trunk seem flimsy and the trunk lock is a joke. I have a 1200 Voyager as well and the bags are MUCH more heavy duty and way more solid feeling. Belt tension is set way too tight from the factory! It makes the shifts quite harsh 1 - 2 especially and does create some wine and moises. I still need to loosen mine. I was hoping that it would on its own a little but after 6600 miles it is still way too tight. and makes some noise. The dealer wouldn't loosen it when I had it in for service saying that is was "in spec" even though they said that the factory spec is very tight. The only other thing is the windshield is a bit tall for my preference. I like (need) a bit of wind to keep me a bit cooler in the Florida heat. Oh speaking of heat. As per the gauge they do run HOT. stock. The ECM tune changes the temp that the fan kicks on which keeps the engine temp down in traffic. It is a great reliable comfortable and powerful bike. Well balanced and definitely feels lighter than it's 900 lbs. With a few not very expensive additions it becomes WAY better! WAY more bang for the $$$ than almost all other bikes in this class. The best features of the Norge are torquey engine, and overall looks. The switchgear is mediocre and flimsy in quality. The electric windshield feels weak and you can’t raise it at highway speed without risking damage to its electric motor. The saddle bags are fitted with what feels like an afterthought system. The bags themselves are pretty large and good. Riding position a little cramped for very long distances, and I’m only 5’8”! Ground clearance is awful, especially on the left side. Centre stand once again appears to be mounted as an afterthought as it grounds out at moderate lean angles. Guages are almost impossible to read in sunlight, too much glare. Worst part of the bike for a sports tourer is the terrible suspension. Way too soft and way under dampened. The Norge is okay at very docile cornering. As soon as you pick up the pace a little the bike gets itself into knots, even without luggage or passenger. I once road a 1990 California 3 1000 that believe it or not handled way better. That bike had Koni rear shocks and air assist forks which I believe are stock items on the Cali 3. Overall. The Norge is just a so so effort. Basically a Breva with saddle bags. Show less

I love this bike..I am the second owner and have made many upgrades to the bike.. All LED lights, Removable Tour Pack, Painted the inner fairing and repainted the Desert Dogs Front and back.. Just installed a new rear fender... What I like best is the fact that if I am not on a long road trip I can remove the tour pack in a few seconds and install the riders back rest that goes with the bike along will all the luggage ... I found the motorcycle I purchased here on Cycle Trader. This is the second time I've Using them; you will always find what you're looking for and there are some great deals. Now I'm having to wait for the bike to be delivered, but with lack of drivers it may take a little bit. It's no one's fault. No biggie, I am patient. It has been a great with both times. Bulletproof. Powerful. Eye-catching. Crowd gathers everywhere I stop - most think the bike is brand new even though it's a 2009. Couldn't ask for a better ride - fast, powerful, comfortable, no need to shift much on mountain rides due to the massive torque from the 2300cc engine...and I'm a big guy. I highly recommend this bike for anyone looking for a worry-free bike that packs a wallop at an affordable price. Show less

I tried a Harley Road King prior to buying my Stratoliner. Absolutely no regrets. These bikes are beasts. Never a breakdown, incredible torque, nimble, a smooth pleasure to ride.
