2011 Suzuki Sport Bike reviews

This is an excellent bike, however, for the last 1,200 of the 8,200 miles, it's developed an annoying screaming noise coming from the front end. The dealership I bought it from cannot find the problem. They've checked wheel bearings, brakes, tires, etc. I thought it could've been the speedometer cable but apparently it's electronic. Several things have been done to rule out wind noise, also given it's sporatic nature. Does anyone have a clue what this could be? Show less

I can't comment on the reliability, since I just got it, but I can tell you that I have ridden all brands and sizes of motorcycles since I was 14 yrs old...36 years ago, and this is the nicest handling cruiser I have ever ridden (handles like a sports bike). The 650cc has plenty of power, and I felt instantly comfortable, turns are a breeze. I take issue with others who say this is a "Beginner Bike". I am no beginner, I am an older rider with serious arthritic issues. Any excess weight on a bike is just something I don't need. I can back, park, turn, maneuver this S40 with no assistance. and cruise 75 mph. on the highway, effortlessly, and turns are no problem. It's just dang fun to ride!!!!! Seriously, I chose this bike over a Harley Dyna and am glad I did. My only complaint is the popping noise the big single piston engine makes upon down shifting. The sound may go away with time I'm told. It doesn't hurt anything, I'm assured, or I could change the exhaust. Suzuki really should take care of this problem. I called the dealership and found out it's very common, and not just with Suzuki, other makes do it, too. But I say, Suzuki! Fix it and make this The Perfect Bike!! Show less

I haven't ridden in 27 years. I looked for a bike that fit what I needed. This bike is a great cruiser. I haven't added anything to it yet but am sure I will. The guys at the dealership were great and easy to work with. Ride on all!!! Show less

The C50T is a magnificent multi-purpose bike. It's a great bike for taking strolls along the beach and cruising in and out of traffic, and it's just as good of a bike for cruising on the open road. The bike has enough power for all applications. I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. Show less

I'm a female; got the mc bug when I turned 60, took an mc safety course and bought my first bike in 2008. It's a 2007 but I bought it new and since I lived in Illinois at the time, had to lay it up over two winters so it's still very low mileage! I had the backfiring problem but it's not as bad since I moved to Texas. Also, I put a Jardine Rumbler exhaust and jet pack on it for better torque and I love the sound. I did not have the backfiring with the original exhaust. I highly recommend this bike for beginners, and women especially. It's only 350 lbs. so it's easier to get back upright--yes, I have almost dropped it a few times. It's easy to manage in traffic and great on the highway, too. Show less

I am wing rider and this bike is for my wife. I would like to say this is a good ride for a smaller bike. But best of all, if you need someone that will treat you right and help you get on the bike, go to my dealer. He sold me my Goldwing and now the C50 Blvd. There is no one out there who can do a better job in finding the right deal for you. My point in all this is having someone you can tust makes it all the better in finding the bike you want and helping you get it. Thanks for helping us. Show less

This bike is a confidence builder. I had a Savage 650 before this one and always wondered what it would be like to handle a heavier cruiser. Let me tell you, this bike will handle any twisty a lot better than the little Savage. It has good fuel range and efficiency as well with two spark plugs per cylinder for better combustion and great low end torque. Show less

I've only had this bike for a couple of weeks it brings a smile ever time I go for a ride. It handles great around town or on the beltway. It's a perfect size for me (5'6"). Show less
