This is a great and beautiful bike and really would like to keep it. But realize I just haven't had time to ride it. It's a joy to ride when I do get the time, nothing is like a Harley ride. I've gotten plenty of compliments on the candy Orange color too. I upgraded the stereo and speakers (Bluetooth/Sirius XM capable). I just had a 10K full service done with brand new tires and brakes done at Harley Davidson in Valparaiso, In. (receipts available) I'm also throwing in two brand new Harley Davidson helmets that I also just got for me and my wife (Bluetooth capable also (Lg/M). I have about five more years before retirement and I be purchasing a brand new Harley for a retirement present, so I figured that someone should enjoy this awesome machine instead of sitting in a garage.

This was my first bike purchased after a 17 year hiatus. Harley produced a really solid and equally fun motorcycle this year. Previous owner of my bike had installed 16" Ape hangers and they kept moving around after a few miles of riding. Found out the riser was stripped and needed a new one. Once replaced, I put more miles on my bike and enjoyed every mile. This bike handles better then I expected. Hugs the curves and really gets going with the 103ci V-Twin.
The one thing I love about this bike the most, how easy it is to wrench on. Did my own primary and transmission service and these were easier then I had expected. The fit and finish of the parts are high quality and Harley takes the time to finesse where needed. Hence, they've been around for almost 120 years and still going strong.
Definitely recommend a Softail Slim FLS to anyone wanting a solid, reliable, and fun ride.

He had dropped it at least once on each side, but with minor scuffs on clutch/brake and throttle handles, pegs, and pipes. But he was totally honest and the damage was pure aesthetics. Really good deal for my first bike. I love it. I tested several bikes at dealerships and then bought from Cycle Trader ad. I think I probably saved about $2k.

I turned 70 a few years ago, and I traded in my Fatboy for a Tri-Glide. It was a good move. I had a few other trikes in the past and they were rough, but I test rode a Harley and what a revelation. Even though it's a solid axel, it was surprisingly smooth. And with the rake on the front end, steering isn't all that hard. The seat is one of the best I've had on a bike, and I've had a few BMWs. My wife agrees. If you are ready for the stability, it's a great choice. They do produce heat, so be aware of that. I did reduce it with a no cat header and a set of mellow crusher mufflers. Good sound, improved power. The paint rock chips a bit easier than I like. Fender covers fixed that. The Lehman factory setup got it pretty much just right. Try it, you'll like it.

Very unique bike and durable good for crusing not for touring, max drive is 1 hour after that you will feel tired good for an early cruse on the sea side etc... Seats one person beautifully but for sure not for two, the extra rider on the back saddle will feel uncomfortable in the back saddle seat. Color of the bike and finish are awesome and it is a bike to keep for life since it is the first bike to own and has a serial number only 1500 units were produced world wide.
