The Honda VT1300CT Interstate is the perfect cruiser,. Taking a ride on this Iron Horse down your favorite two lane roads is pure pleasure. Short or long rides are equal in experience. Mine is a 2015, my third one. Why you ask? With a killer retro with an extended front chrome fork, comes with a full windshield over the single large front now bright LED light. Below the tear drop gas tank, is full chrome both sides to the dual chrome pipes. Next are the dual hardened leather saddle bags. It comes with a Banana seat with a sissy seat and back rest with a extended small chrome storage rack. Every single place I go, when I stop, people come up to tell me how bad ass it looks and how great looking it is. This one is jet black where there is not chrome, The only thing I had to add was a engine guard. This bike is built to run for a long time, change the oil every 5k and battery once a year and they just keep going. My first one, a new 2011, I put 95,000 miles on it, zero issues. My second 2013 I put 69,000 on, zero issues. Weighing in right at 660 pounds, holds 4.8 gallons of gas and averages 45 on the road and about 30 in town. I can't say enough good things about this bike, I recommend one to anyone.

Not a fan of forward controls but with floorboards added makes it not as far of a stretch. The seat is junk. Your bum will start burning around 60 miles into the ride. As a commuter bike it is great. Average 65 mpg in town. This is a budget bike and it shows. All plastic motorcycle. Seating position is excellent. For me it's about 25hp short of being fun. As a learner or commuter bike you can't go wrong.

In October of 2021 I totaled my Yamaha V-Star ( hit a deer at 50 miles per hour). Since then the Honda 750 has been my only bike and she how has over 25,000 on her. The Honda Aero is a very good overall machine capable of doing 80 miles per hour all day. The Yamaha 950 is in my opinion the next level up and was a exceptional machine. My Honda 750 has a windshield, mustang seat, bags, sissy bar, floorboards and large trunk bag. I consider my Honda to be my miniature Road King and a lot of complements on her. I retire in 2 years and will get myself a new bike as a retirement gift. I will keep the Honda 750 because it’s an overall very good bike with really excellent gas mileage. However, I will be buying a larger touring bike maybe a used 2017 Yamaha 1300 Deluxe ( last year made) or maybe even my dream bike a newer used HD Heritage classic.

2015 HONDA Stateline Base, Meet The Modern Custom; People ride cruisers for two big reasons: the way they work, and the way they look. Around town and on the road, the relaxed, stretched-out cruiser style is not only comfortable, but it makes sense too. And the way they look—cruisers turn heads everywhere, even when they’re parked. That’s especially true of the Honda Stateline. With its stretched lines and progressive styling, it really stands out. With its 1312cc V-twin engine, shaft final drive, disc brakes and fuel injection, it’s as modern and trouble-free as any Honda out there, and you know how good that feels. You see a lot of cruisers out there that have too much junk hung all over them. Not the Stateline. Its streamlined good looks really set it apart. And the way it rides? That puts it even further ahead of the pack.; It’s All About the Engine: Fuel-injected and featuring three valves per cylinder, the Stateline’s mighty 1312cc 52-degree V-twin is the perfect fusion of traditional layout and modern engineering.; Less Is More: Everything about the Stateline is tastefully done, with a streamlined spin. Case in point: Check out the tank-mounted speedometer, nestled inside a gorgeous, specially designed chrome housing. Features 1312cc V-Twin Engine: Powerful 1312cc, 52-degree V-twin engine with a single-pin crankshaft and dual balancers has plenty of torque, and the feel only a V-twin can deliver. Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI): Forget about fiddling with a choke—the Stateline's fuel injection system means no-hassle startups on cold mornings or at high altitudes, and optimal performance in any condition. Shaft Final Drive: The shaft final drive is quiet, clean and has been uniquely integrated into the overall design. Five-Spoke Cast Wheels: Silver-finish five-spoke wheels never go out of true, are easy to keep clean and just plain look right on a sharp, contemporary cruiser like the Stateline. Front- and Rear-Disc Brakes: A single 336mm disc/twin-piston caliper unit up front and 296mm disc/single-piston caliper setup in back ensure the Stateline can reel itself in when needed. Wide, Low-Profile Tires: Bi

Bought this bike out of the crate but 3 yrs old. So I got it cheap. Had not ridden a bike in 15 yrs and wanted something reliable and predictable. I wanted something that I could ride around through the back country roads and take day trips on comfortably with my GF. I also wanted something that I could customize myself. The stock seats were not awful but got uncomfortable after a couple hours. Changed those out for Mustang seats with driver backrest and that made a huge difference. Added a passenger backrest so my GF felt safer and I swapped out both the passenger and driver pegs for floorboards. That made a difference too. Added engine guard and highway pegs and saddle bags which made day rides out to the mountains a lot easier, able to stretch out a bit and pack enough snacks and drinks and extra clothes like a raincoat or sweatshirt that we have at least the basics for a day out. I added fender trim and a front fender ornament. For a basic bike with a few upgrades, I get a lot of compliments on its looks. Bike has plenty of power, even with 2 of us on it. Not gonna race a rice grinder but plenty to cruise comfortably at 70. Handling is solid and predictable. The mechanics are reliable. Maintenance is easy as heck. I think if I were going to do a week long trip I would want a bigger bike with more bells and whistles but for a day tripper or even a weekend this bike is more than fine with a few comfort upgrades.
