Just thought I'd throw my two cents in the discussion. I purchased my scotter in Dec 2006. I've managed to put only 5000 miles on her so far. I have other rides that demand attention. As fas a the bike goes OUTSTANDING. Great fit and finish. Of course off the floor the bike is hampered by EPA restrictions, the same as any other mass produced bike. Out goes the stock air filter, pipes, and map. In go thunder header, K&N, and race tuner. Lesser bike beware this thing moves for 800 lbs of steel. Not a newbi bike. Will need to change the tires as the stock items track rain grooves a bit too much. I've had no problems with paint (glorious colors) or any mechanical gremlins. See ya down the road.

The bike runs great, a few minor issues, but MoCo took care of these. The main issue that is still un-resolved is that the paint is defective. All the striped parts need replacement. They don't match. MoCo had replaced mine but these replacement parts are just as bad. I am hooked up with 33 other guys that have the same year bike, and the paint is bad on all of ours. The green is also bad in the '06. MoCo first tells you that there is nothing wrong, but they are replaceing parts on most of the bikes of my friends, but we have had to jump through hoops for a year to do so.

Sold my BMW R1200RT to get back to what I truly missed: the raw enjoyment of riding a Harley. Sure the beamer is a better bike all around: smoother ride, more agile, quicker, and terrific quality. However, last year I sold my 2002 Road King Classic to buy the R1200RT and almost immediately missed the shear enjoyment of riding a bike that gives pure road feedback. I just picked up my 2007 FLHTCUSE2 and couldn't wipe the smile off my face as I rode away from the dealer. The comfort, sound and feel of this bike is what I am so pleased to have again. So far, and I know I havn't been able to fully analyze it yet, the ride is fantastic. I'll review it again after I put on some miles but my initial assessment is that although it may not be the best all around ride, it is the best all around motorcycling experience whether you are on or off the bike.
