I purchased this bike in Nov '03. From the day I bought the bike it has been a show stopper. I have put over 11000 miles in less than one year. It has been very reliable and fires right up. Upon purchase of the bikes, I did two things, one is to put Vance and Hines long shots on the bike to give it the sound that I want. The Harley mechanic that I know suggested that the long shots take away horse power, but I disagree. I also like all the noise to be behind me, if you know what I mean. I was disappointed in that upon purchase of my bike, I was getting beat in drag races by a stock 1450cc FXSTDI. This pissed me off, so I had to purchase a DFO fuel kit and had the bike dyno'd. The biggest thing holding back HP was the back cover of the air cleaner kit was restricking air flow, upon removal of the blk/back cover, we gained 10 hp. I now pull 90hp and 98 torque to the rear wheel. The seat that orginally comes with the bike is great for show, but is impractical for the long rider. I have changed out the seat to a cruiser seat that has made the world of difference. Overall, I love this bike. It has been so much fun that I have lost of few girlfriends because of it.

Have rode with a few friends with the '03 100th Anniversary S.E. Deuces and finally got a chance to try one. What a bike. The big bore 1550 pulls good, sounds good (with pipes), and best of all is fuel injected. The ride is much better than my last bike and it handles well. The custom paint and chrome make this bike by far. The new 3 spoke chrome detonator wheels look awesome, the hydraulic clutch is smooth and the new spun aluminum tach and speedo look sweet especially back lit in red at night. It absolutely stands out all the time and draws tons of looks. There were some noticable defects on the bike right off the showroom floor, and that is why I gave it a 4, but H-D is working on correcting them for me. I gave a 4 on comfort as like with most bikes the stock seat is a tad stiff and the edge of the seat cuts into your leg when you drop it to the ground at stops. Luckily there were very few of these made so they should hold value very well. If you're looking for a custom looking Harley, look no further, this is one that is worth the tall dollar.

I'm not a huge Harley fan but this is by far the most beautiful and special Harley I've ever seen. I haven't ridden one this is just about what I've seen in a showroom. If you buy this you will not spend much on the aftermarket that is for sure all the pegs, grips etc. are awesome as they are. This is the one model of HD I think is well worth the big bucks-all 30K of them. The Cobalt Blue is beautiful. This bike is definately up there on my Lotto wish list.
