Sold it in 1994 with 68000 miles on it... due to temp financial problems.. Was fantastic bike then.. with major regrets in selling it.. And then.. Bought it back 4 weeks ago.. was as if in a time capsule.. only 4K miles added.. must have been in storage.. drained old fuel replaced all fluids replaced battery.. Still working on rebuilding a rear brake caliper.. and then back on the road.. Makes excellent power.. big enough for serious touring.. and handles fantastic.. S

I've owned my CB900 Custom for 15 years and I regularly travel with the big 1500's Kow's and Intruders. I wouldn't give it up for anything but a 1100 Shadow. The 900 Custom is a strong and trouble free ride and I can take it anywhere with pride....

In 1985 as I was riding by Yamaha 750 Virago in Albany, NY, I saw a guy on a 1982 CB900C and I said to myself "that's a nice looking bike". Ten years later, after putting to sleep my Virago, I found an 82 CB900C with only 10,000 miles on it which I bought for chump change. The bike is great f...

The bike is great for just tooling around on, or, as I do every year, throw on my soft bags and take off for 4 or 5 days camping with the boys. The bike is great off the line and quite up to doing the 300 or so miles of back roads riding a day that we do in comfort and style. My problem? I have been saving up for a new bike but what can replace this wonderful machine?

I have owned my CB900C for about 12 years. It really wasn't until last year that I found out what a great bike it is. I commuted to work into December (Wisconsin) with only a Plexifairing III. I just completed a 1700-mile tour through Wisconsin, upper Michigan, through Sault Ste. Marie, Canada along Lake Huron then south to Barrie and then meandered through SW Ontario through places like Guelph, Goderich, Bayfield then to Sarnia, Canada and back into Michigan. Went across Michigan to Ludington. Took the Ferry to Marinette, WI and then back to Madison, WI. Not a problem. I averaged about 45-47 MG MPG on the trip. I am ready to go again. I only have one problem with this bike. I have been looking for a new ride...but, this bike runs so well I really don't want to give it up. I'm on my CB900C every chance I get. Love it!

This is an excellent motorcycle to ride for a shorter rider (under 6 feet) as the seat is fairly low. It has a dual range transmission, around 95 horsepower, and weighs in at over 600 pounds. It produces thrills and chills above 4,000 rpm right up to the 9,500 redline. Happy riding!!...
