This bike is great for solo riding. The seat is so comfortable, you can sit in it for hours. Of course long before that, the little gas tank will need filling. When I bought this bike, it looked like a Harley more than any other Japanese bike at that time. It was great to see confused Harley riders wondering if they should take their waves back. LOL. I loved the thick handgrips and the mirrors were placed perfectly. If it wasn't for the power, I would have given the bike a top rating, even without a very good passenger seat. I was riding alone one time across a bridge against the wind and could barely maintain 60 mph. That did it for me, I parted with the bike after that. But to this day I've never found a more comfortable one up bike.

This was the first year for the 600 Shadow VLX Deluxe. It came with a lot of chrome and Teal in color with Black trim. There were only two of these sold in New York State in 1993. And that was the only year for that color combo. I bought mine new November of 1992. And still have it. And plan on keeping it.
