Everyone knows of KTM but few have heard of Husaberg. Well, as I have discovered, the FE 450 is a KTM 450 six days equivalent, only better. The fuel injection is awesome, absolutly no hesitation. The lay down engine is amazing design. I was a bit apprehensive about a 450 coming off of a 250 but no need. This bike once moving handles and feels as light as a 250. I highly recommend it.

When the 550 first came out, I knew this was the bike I wanted. I found a super clean 05' for sale and bought it. Awesome handling, excellent suspension, torquey motor, and the sound... WOW! This is an excellent bike with top quality components. I had the ignition burnout on me, this is a problem that has been rectified on later models. There is a great underground society of Husaberg owners who help each other out. The bikes require a little more attention than some, but the performance is worth it. One ride and you'll be hooked.

Purchasing this `04 Husaberg FC450 motorcycle over joys me; so much so, I just sold my `04 Honda CRF450 for the used 'Berg. The previous owner wanted something a little tamer (like a 125 2-stroker). Purchasing this `04 Husaberg FC450 motorcycle over joys me; so much so, I just sold my `04 Honda CRF450 for the used 'Berg. The previous owner wanted something a little tamer (like a 125 2-stroker). The Husaberg is stone cold "RELIABLE, not one hick-up after 6 months of motor abuse. The WP Suspension handles the Natural and SX type terrain proficiently, with plenty of adjustment in the clickers for individual needs. Power, lets just say the 'Berg out pulled my CRF450. Braking was spot-on; it slowed you down in a hurry! The 'Berg FC450 is an impressive handling dirt bike, very secure feeling in the corners, through the whoops and air time is what I love best about the 'Berg. It flies with the eagles. I would say the handling is right up there with rest of the competition. Enough said, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality 4-stroke, please check out the Husaberg's ~ if the FC450 Motocrosser, in my opinion "is this good, the Enduro and Supermoto bikes must be fantastic as well.

First of all the dealer jutted this bike the electrical harness that was suppose to be in this bike wasn't, they even left the screws loose in the stator and it cracked the case. So here I am with a Husa What??? Is a Husa went, said see ya KTM can keep there junk? Never buy another KTM product again, I went from this bike to Husky's but that's another story there too. Sure can't beat Japanese bikes?

Strong points: Great well-balanced and stable chassis, power to outpull a CR500, flies well, easy to start (make sure you jet it right), Great brakes, Fix the clutch by putting a braided hose instead of the crap original one. Off you go! Weaknesses: Too powerful for anything but experienced riders, clutch leaks from new, Vibration, exhaust pipe routing (f%*#@ing hot headpipes), kickstart too high and awkward, easy to stall off the idle. Fix the slow turning by raising the forklegs 2-4 mm in the yokes.
