Kawasaki KLX140 reviews

I got this bike for my son who has lots of experience on a Suzuki Z90. I was worried about getting him a bike. This bike is so dang easy to learn on that I had my boy running down trails with rocks, ruts and deep water. He did great, I love the bike. Show less

It's good for all kids and adults 5 foot or over. It has great handling and suspension which is good for jumping. I also love the power. It is strong and takes off well. You can also keep it in 3rd and 4th gear and ride almost anywhere in those gears because you can go fast and still have the power to go up steep hills. It is a blast riding it and is good for all ages if you are tall enough. It's great that it has electric start so it's easy and fast. I love the bike and hope you will enjoy it like I do. I think that this bike selection is great, but also I think it needs some improvements on the bikes for the landings. I just got my brand new bike about a month ago and it was working absolutely perfect and then I hit a nice big jump and the landing was a little off. But still that landing wasn't that bad and it was pretty painful!! So I just think they should work on more efficient landing equipment! Show less

Amazing road and dirt machine. I go up and down dirt logging roads with my friend, and it hits all the bumps in the road as either jumps if you want to hit them, or just smoothly go over them; very controllable bike for beginners and anyone who loves ATVing and biking. Its speed is incredible, it will hit 70 if you can shift well. Powerband is a great thing on it too, when you can never mostly hit powerbands on 4 strokes and feel them. Not on the KLX 140, you can feel the powerband. The electric start, disc brakes, and rear sprocket design has never failed, ever. This bike holds at least 3 gallons and has never guzzled gas. Only thing that strikes me as weird is that the choke is up near the handlebars. Most chokes are down below. It isn't a bad thing, actually it makes it easier, but it's positioned wierdly. All in all, this bike is the #1 trail bike ever, and must NEVER be turned down. BUY KAWASAKI AS YOUR NEXT TRAIL BIKE YOU won't BE UPSET! Show less

I had this bike for 6 months and it has not let down. The ride is nice and it handles jumps nicely. It has a lot of torque and power. I have taken it through about 3 feet of water with no problem. This is a real nice trail bike. Show less
