I sold my 450 and bought the 300 XC. This bike just seems great. My age is 41 now, so I wanted to be able to ride hare scrambles and an occasional MX race, also. It's like a light 450 that really rips when you want it to. The power is very stable and predictable. I have had the 200 XC and 250 XC, and this bike seems way more mellow, but can turn on the power when you want it. The electric start is great, too. I have raced it at the local MX track and it hangs right with them out of the gate, and anywhere else that you want it to. The suspension seems fine after you have the sag set. I am very glad that I bought this bike.

I just bought a '07 300 XC(W) and haven't put too much time on it yet but I have ridden it enough to know it has got power out the wazoo! After rejetting it, putting in a new plug and running a higher grade oil, it starts up on the 1st kick. It has great low end torque (unlike my other bike) and will raise the front wheel in the first three gears. I've been a 4-stroke guy (and still am) but I will enjoy this 2-stroke for my woods riding for a long time. I say, get a two-stroke while you can!

Push this bike though the woods or blast though the desert woops. Your buddies will only see the rear fender! I am a first time KTM owner and I'll never go back. It has an unbelievable amount of low end and arm ripping top end. It has suspension you dream about. For big boys only!... read more

What a machine. The front of this bike is usually off the ground! This thing is so fast! I took it to Miles Mtn MX track, it makes you feel so much in control. I tightend down the rear spring and cranked down some tension on the fork springs and set the rebound and dampening to fit my style of riding. It jumps great and lands like a dream. This is truly the best all around bike I have ever been on. Lots of low end power, you can't believe you are on a 2 stroke. I am headed to the woods this weekend...stay tuned!

Lug it or scream it, it has power everywhere. It has plenty of leg room and great suspension,(which I haven't done anything to since I've had it). This is definitely a big boy bike!... read more
