Bought the Malaguti Phantom when I was in Switzerland for two years. It was the first scooter I ever bought and I will never ride another design again. When I get back to the States next year, I'm buying the Phantom 50 once again. It starts up consistently, no problem. Throttles with no issues. Takes the... read more
Bought the Malaguti Phantom when I was in Switzerland for two years. It was the first scooter I ever bought and I will never ride another design again. When I get back to the States next year, I'm buying the Phantom 50 once again. It starts up consistently, no problem. Throttles with no issues. Takes the turns at high speed. Brakes soundly and quickly. Parks anywhere. SO MUCH FUN. Do not hesitate. PICK THIS BAD BOY UP!

This is a good starter bike for anyone interested in getting used to the roads. It requires a motorcycle license because of the 150CC (or learners license). I used it to get my motorcycle licenses (much easier then getting them with a "real" motorcycle). I passed the test on the first attempt. This bike will give you the confidence to move up to a bigger bike. You will not want to sell this bike, but you will eventually want more power. It sometimes will do 75MPH, but most of the time will MAX out around 65MPH. A lot of fun to ride!

I just purchased a Malaguti Yesterday three months ago and I have to say its the best scooter I have ever owned. I had to travel 80 miles to get it, but its the best bike out there. Out the door $2700 - $600 less than ET2! Are there any other Malaguti owners on this board? The quality, finish, and acc... read more
I just purchased a Malaguti Yesterday three months ago and I have to say its the best scooter I have ever owned. I had to travel 80 miles to get it, but its the best bike out there. Out the door $2700 - $600 less than ET2! Are there any other Malaguti owners on this board? The quality, finish, and accessories are incredible. The dealer (Malaguti Atlanta) installed an alarm and everything. Does anyone have any experience with this bike with a 70cc kit? Kurt
