The dream of the Sixties Harley hardtail has been on my mind since I was a kid. I kind of held those "outlaw" riders in awe I guess. Starting as soon as I earned my first check, I went with sensible, affordable bikes - Hondas. Proceeding from Cb 360, CB 750, and Goldwings, I caught the Harley bug and have gone through a 2005 Sportster 883, a 2002 Heritage Softail Classic, a 2006 Dyna Low Rider, a 2006 StreetGlide and a 2009 Nightster. These were all good, dependable bikes. When I learned about Sucker Punch Sallys bikes, "old school" dependable, oil tight, electric start, open primary, disc brake hard tail bikes, I was sold and started shopping. This 2007 Sled came available to me and I jumped on it! Finally an "old school" hardtail with a dependable Harley Evo 80. Having owned 10 or so bikes in 30 years I thought I knew bikes. Not so! The hardtail is a beautiful and different animal! The sights, the sounds, the ride and the hardtail riders are a different breed that I find refreshing and wonderful. If you're ready to raise the ante, this is for you!
