It's just an all around awesome sport cruiser. However, I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. The bike has superb handling and breaking for a 750lbs monster with enough power and torque to leave most if not all in the dust. This bike is smooth and powerful. If you want to go slow and steady you can do that. And if you want to go fast and rough you can definitely do that too! This bike is smooth and powerful. If you want to go slow and steady you can do that. And if you want to go fast and rough you can definitely do that too! My bike is stock so I have not pushed the limits yet, and I don't know if I would either. I have had the bike up to about 85 or 90 on a highway, that's it! But it was smooth the entire time. When you open the bike up it GROWLS! Check this out you're at 30 mph getting on a highway you start to speed up to merge in and the road is empty... you say to yourself, "I'm gonna do it.And you do! In 3rd gear you hit the throttle hard and the bike jumps as if to say, "Oh okay!" It GROWLS! And you go from 35 to 65 in 1.5 sec. Then you shift into 4th and it sinks down and GROWLS again. 2 sec. later you are at 85 or 90 and if you are ME you stop there, shift into 5th and cruise. That being said, don't let this bike scare you. This is my very first bike! I have never ever ridden a motorcycle before this one. I took the class on the 250s but I actually tested this big boy in the cul-de-sacs before the class. I dropped it that day but there was no damage. I haven't dropped it since. First timers take it from me, you don't have to go small first when you are dealing with V-twins. GET THIS BIKE! I plan on adding a Power Commander, getting it dynoed, and adding new pipes to improve performance. The brakes on this bike are great and the handling is superb. I can't wait to hit the mountains in the summer.
