I've had my 'Busa for 2 years now and it still absolutely blows me away everytime I ride it. There is seemingly limitless power. One of the first mods I made was installing a shift-light. Had to have one because the tach screams toward redline so quickly, it's difficult to watch it and the road at the same time. I've taken the bike to road course track-day and had an unbelieveably good time. It's sort of long and heavy for high speed cornering and the other smaller bikes would pass me on the corners, but once I hit the straights, I would pass all the bikes right back again. Very reliable, have only had to renew the battery. Rider comfort was increased substantially by intalling a Gen-Mar handlebar riser (1.25in). Most importantly, it's quickness and acceleration is difficult to put into words.

I don't feel all "bunched up". I go for long rides without feeling fatigued at all or feeling the need to stop and stretch. Equipped with more power than I'll ever need, this thing really flies. Any faster and I'll need a pilot's license. I may never use all that power, but it's nice to know it's there if I decide to "play". The only thing I'll change is the seat. Gotta try the gel seat to alleviate "rock butt". Otherwise, bike is incredibly awesome!!

Comfortable for bigger guys. You tend to carry your weight on your palms on the bars, so I switched to a softer grip. Hard to tuck completely under the fairing if you're taller. Unless provoked, smooth and easy to ride. Good for putting long miles down (~300 miles/day on a few occasions now). I don't think the break-in period (less than 5500 rpm for the first 600 miles, less than 8000 rpm until 1000 miles) is really intended to help the bike, I believe it's intended to keep the rider alive. Once provoked, hang on... Simply unbelieveable power. One problem... my has speedometer has occasionally gone nuts, and needs service. Handles very well. Corners well, will brake your eyeballs out of their sockets. More brake is available than most people are comfortable using. Did I mention the power? Even the Harley guys give this bike respect. If you get one (and you should...) be sure to respect it also. This machine IS NOT a choice for beginners. Your chances of survival go down steeply... the wrong twist of the wrist gets you airborne and staying in it gets you deep into triple digits in a big hurry. After putting 20,000 or so miles on various crotch rockets, I can tell you that this machine is so thunderously powerful that it far exceeds this rider's skills in launching at the dragstrip. Time and practice... time and practice...
