This bike was bought from the original owner who purchased it new in 1996. He called it his Baby. I've had it for about 2 months and I love it. It is still very clean and the chrome and paint looks perfect. He did change the tires and went to a larger rear which helps lower cruising rpm. It has been very reliable for him and I anticipate the same. It starts right up and runs beautifully. Nice torque kick when you roll on the throttle at about 20 mph in second. I will be getting a new seat though.

After a lot of riding however, you do start to feel like you would like a bigger bike.

I purchased a 95 intruder 800 I think this bike is a very well built bike, it as great look's lot's of power. Everywhere I go I get good excellent comments on it. The only thing I don't like is the seat is too hard! The newer model's 96's on up have the more padded seats but no other dislikes.... read more

The hydraulics get a little mushy in 30-40 degree weather. Stock shocks need to go, particularly if riding two-up. Great for short trips around town. However, all in all, biggest bang for your riding buck!!! No other V-Twin in same class can touch it in take-off and roll on power.
