So I consider my '05 Daytona 650 my first bike (although I had an old 250 Interceptor for a few weeks in NYC, in the middle of winter) and absolutely love it. I started off quite nervous about riding it, but it just inspires confidence. Dealing with the strong winds here in Vegas is the only thing I don't like about riding, but this bike feels rock solid when being blasted by a gust from the side. I haven't opened her up much, but I did scare myself in 3rd gear once when I accelerated a little too hard and felt the front wheel lifting a little too much! I've already had a handful of people admiring the bike, even non-riders who don't care for the Jap bikes, they love this Triumph, and half the people I work with, are looking to now buy a bike, most of them wanting a Triumph! Can't wait to get the first oil change out of the way, and take it over 6k rpm...

I had a GSXR 600 as my first rocket and didn't think it could get better. I saw this awesome looking bike, test drove it and sold my GIXXER the next day to pay for my 650. I haven't even missed my GSXR because of this awesome machine. The 650 has better power and better acceleration than the GSXR and CBR I have ridden. This is a great and reliable bike. won't sell it unless I have to!!!

I went from riding a Ducati Monster 620 to this beast and they are like night and day. You just think about leaning in a curve and the bike does it for you. It's so effortless, it's almost scary. Even at my size, there are zero issues with comfort or power. The power is sufficient from what I've been able to tell in the short time I've had it. I even have friends that ride rice rockets and they envy the looks of my 'Tona. My dad has even pondered selling his Monster 1000 to get a Daytona. I had a salesman at a local Suzuki dealership ask me if I was ready to trade and I effortlessly told him that I wouldn't ever even think about it. It's just the fact the bike is well rounded in all aspects and looks nothing like any of the other bikes on the market. I'm taking her to the grave.

I have owned this bike (2005 Triumph Daytona 650 yellow) since late April and I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with it. I have gotten so many compliments since I bought it and in my opinion it is the best looking sport bike out there. It rides great, handles great, has tons of speed and power, and looks amazing. I just put a Two Bros exhaust on it and it now sounds amazing, too. It fits me perfect for my height but I'm not sure it would be the greatest bike for a shorter person. I have ridden it nonstop for an hour and a half and it doesn't really ever get uncomfortable. I have also ridden people on the back and it doesn't really lose any power. Overall I give it a perfect rating because I've never ridden a bike that even comes close!

This bike is fun to ride!! People watch in awe when they see me going down the street. The handling this bike has is outstanding! You can corner and almost lay it down on it's side and feel safe doing it.

This bike is incredible! Power that is hard to match with handling to counter it. The 650 has the added something to make you wonder what you might miss with a 600. More displacement! This bike is a head-turner. Being that it is not your average sport bike, I find that more and more people are asking "What is it?" which I must say I don't mind telling them. I would deffinately recomend this bike to a friend. The only reason I gave the reliability a 4 is because I am having some issues with the programming of the fuel system, but am happy to say that the dealer gas been very responsive to my needs.

I purchased the new Daytona 650 within a week of writing this. This bike is an incredible combination of style, power, and comfort. You get all the enjoyment of a torqued up sport bike, but with a subtle style that you just don't see amongst the Japanese counterparts. This bike gives the rider a greater sense of safety while riding and rarely does anything unexpected. This bike also makes a statement. I recently pulled into a Hooters bike night, and all of my friends with Japanese bikes were overlooked by my brand new stock Triumph. Why not be different?
