I just bought this today from a local Harley dealer who took it in on trade for another cookie cutter Harley. I also traded an '06 Roadstar for it! So I was a Harley guy until I met this love of my life. When I test rode it and rode later, it felt like I was floating down the road. This is the first bike that I could see a guy actually falling asleep on while riding. The lines look like a black 50's Cadillac! The chrome is in the right places, beautiful scallops on the huge tank and a lovely and comfy saddle to straddle. I can only hope the reliability and ease of maintenance is as pleasing!

I purchased my bike in Feb. of this year and have enjoyed every minute of it. Past owner of a Heritage Softail. Roadliner Midnight is all around a better bike for those who want to ride, then ride some more. (sorry HD, just my opinion) Service and staff has been great. My time is spent on the road with cofidence that the bike will not let me down. 113ci and 1854 cc is all you need for long trips.

With the odometer at 5400 miles now, I feel it is broken in. The motor hasn't missed a beat yet and the exhaust seems a little throatier now. The bike (other than a horrible stock seat) has been wonderful out of the box. I'm getting 42 - 44 mpg at 60 mph and about 38 - 40 mpg at 70 mph. The bike runs reasonably cool even in the heat down here. Handling and balance are nothing short of superb. I'll be keeping this one for quite a while.

Like many who have purchased the Roadliner, I have owned many different scooters. Probably all the nametags sold in the US. I always remained open to brands as not to come off like the iron head boys that demand one brand is the best. Well, well, well... lookie what we got here... One incredible, mean, sleek, art deco work of excellence... the Roadliner. This bike has more going for it than most labels have in their whole product line. I looked and had the choice of them all. When I saw the bull faced headlight sticking out of the line up at the local Yamaha dealer I knew right then and there, to be BAD... to be COOL... this had to be under you. Three weeks and a lot of butt kissing, and I rode off. Since then, I now know POWER. This bike is 1900 cc of massive torque and snap. In the year I have ridden this machine, I have always parked up front or rode next to any other brand knowing I'm looking down at a lesser machine (no offense), and that I made the best choice. And had enough left over to buy a second one... And only heard one person (a back passenger, go figure) say, "that's a rice burner! All I know is I now GLOAT, I now get cocky and I also have much, much pride in this bike. There is absolutely NO substitute for the BEST.

I purchased the Yamaha Silverado 1100 in 2006 and was very pleased with the bike but felt the need for more pick-up & passing power. When I lost one of my riding gloves I was upset until I went to my dealership for another pair. There I saw a new 2006 Midnight Roadliner. As fate would have it I now own it. I've put 650 miles on the bike locally including one day trip(300mi). I am very pleased with the bikes performance. It's very well balanced and delivers an abundance of thrust. The clutch shifts very smoothly. The belt drive gives instant pick-up, but I need to get used to the instant down powering when easing up on the gas. I highly recommend the Yamaha Roadliner.

Did a lot of reading and comparing before making the purchase. Primary other bikes considered were the Kawasaki and Harley Davidson, traded in a Suzuki Boulevard. None others felt as well balanced, handled as well, or were as comfortable. Have only had it less than a week, and put about 150-200 miles on it so far.

I went into the dealer to buy the Yamaha R6 and before I signed the papers, they pulled the Yamaha Roadliner-Midnight out of the showroom and started it up. I was very impressed, but not as impressed until I rode it. Very powerful bike. I bought it in August of 06 and put many miles on it. There is so much you can do with this bike with many upgrades available. I have had this bike up to 110mph and it just cruised along. I don't recommend this bike to a first time rider. If you are looking for a nice touring/cruising bike this one is highly recommended and is very reasonable.
