Yamaha V Star� 1100 Classic reviews

This is my first new bike. I started riding in 02/04 when a friend sold me an '82 Yamaha Maxim 550 and, though it could handle freeway speeds, I was a little distressed over the high pitch noise produced by the engine. In March I started looking for a new motorcycle, and decided on the V-Star 1100. I wanted the Silverado, but my fianc� didn't like the studs. So, we settled on the Classic, and got all the add-ons to make it look like a Silverado w/o the studs! I commute 50 miles round-trip every day, through some of the worst traffic areas in the Puget Sound region. When I was driving my truck it was a daily chore. With my new bike, it's an absolute joy!!!
