2002 Honda Nighthawk 750

I recently purchased my 2002 NH 750 about a month ago and when I first rode it, I was really amazed how smooth it ran and how manageable it was in all aspects. I haven't ridden a bike in about 10-12 years and my last bike was an old 1976 yamaha 500. But when I got on this bike the feeling instantly came back to me. Even though the nighthawk felt a little heavy to me, when I got it rolling, it balanced itself rather nicely. I would recommend this bike to just about anyone...

Bought the bike from my son-in-law and the first time I saw it I thought It was a Harley Fat Boy from the street. Have owned it for 3 years now. Changing back sprocket to a smaller sprocket by 2 teeth made all the difference in performance in the top end speed not to mention gas mileage. I will...

Great ride on long trips. Love the blue Motiff on my 2002 ACE

I have owned a 954rr for 2 years. The only major additions I have added is a scotts steering damper and a corbin front seat. Even though the old girl is gaining in age she can still keep up and better most newer liter bikes, as well as being better in the twisties then most 600cc bikes. A good aftermarket exhaust, with a PCIII gets rid of the studder in the lower RPMs, with the flapper mod and the HETV mod it helps even more. The riding stance is very comfortable compared to all the newer bikes. Not so race oriented and it keeps a lot of pressure off of your wrists, and the after market seat keeps your arse in one place and feels much better than stock. And of course the scotts steering damper gets rid of that headshake for the most part. There are also A LOT of parts out there for these bikes aftermarket and OEM. My only complaint is that this bike is not as stable as new as newer bikes so it makes the power a little harder to harness when really getting on it. But this is not a starter bike by any means but if you can get one of these bikes, do so. They are rare and beautiful pieces of work. And better yet it is a Honda so it will last forever. ENJOY.

I always dreamed of owning a big fat Harley Davidson. Now that I am 39 and am on top of things, money wise I started looking for a second hand HD. To cut a long story short... I always dreamed of owning a big fat Harley Davidson. Now that I am 39 and am on top of things, money wise I started looking for a second hand HD. To cut a long story short... HD are way way way over priced for what you get and unless you buy new, they are mostly crap. So I started looking at the Hondas and Yamahas. I test rode so many bikes until one day I got on my first Shadow ACE 1996. What a great bike. It was at a dealers so it was way expensive. I ended up with a 2002 mint cond. Sabre with 6000km's on the clock. This has to be one of the best value cruisers on the road. I love it. The only cruiser that I fit on and looked good on. Heaps of power and the gearing is huge, unlike the V-Stars. It will cruise down the road at 100km/ph in 4th then just drop it into 5th and it's purring. I also had a set of V&H Longshots installed with a K & N Filter. Had it Dynoed and there was no need to re jet it. Bummped it up to 63 torque H.P. from 55. Love the bike and will keep it forever.

Before this bike I had a smaller 03 CRF150. It was a good starter bike, but didn't have the power I would have liked for trail riding. When I bought this bike it was a whole different story. This bike had everything: power, comfort and it is a joy to ride.

This is a great bike!!! I am the second owner and had to rebuild the top and bottom but the bike currently is excellent! The only problem I have with the bike is that it isn't that great in the low end, for example, when the track is wet, you know when you're in mud because it just won't go faster....

Other wise the bike is great. The suspension is set up for someone about 40-50 lbs heavier than me but I like it stiff. I previously had a 2004 CRF 230 and the 125 takes the bigger landings much better. I rode my friends 2006 CR 125 and mine felt lighter than his. Great all around bike though, superb acceleration in the high end. Highly recommend it.

I didn't have a ton of hours on this bike, but what I would have to say about this bike is that it is probably the best handling bike I've ridden. It is very comfortable to ride for a motocross bike. It doesn't have the most powerful engine, but not many riders can ride it to its full potential...

It doesn't have the most powerful engine, but not many riders can ride it to its full potential anyway. Overall it's great for anyone that wants great handling and comfort out of a lighter-weight full size bike.

I added the taller Givi windshield. I am 62 years old and find this bike to be very comfortable, smooth riding and surprisingly fast. It is very quiet. I go to work at 3:30am without waking the neighbors. I would recommed the Silver Wing to anyone.

Bought my ACE brand new in 02. I average 6K miles a year riding. Aside from regular, scheduled maintenance (tires, brakes, oil, etc), I've only had to spend $1.98 on 2 O-rings for a small antifreeze leak between the heads. Never been down for ANY repairs. Takes the wife and I up and down the...

Aside from regular, scheduled maintenance (tires, brakes, oil, etc), I've only had to spend $1.98 on 2 O-rings for a small antifreeze leak between the heads. Never been down for ANY repairs. Takes the wife and I up and down the mountains of western PA without a problem. Only bad point is the stock seat which a Mustang seat fixed and high RPMs at highway speeds which a smaller rear sprocket cured. Will never sell it or use it as a trade.
