This bike is the best 4 stroke bike ever. From trails to track, I burn anyone. I've even raced a KX 85 and burned him easily. I only laid it down once only because I wasn't paying attention but it's easy to pick up and I'm...

This bike is one awesomely sweet bike. It has more power than any other bike I've ridden (85r,100kx). Also, this bike has never let me down once, starts right up with no hesitation. And, if you don't like fast bikes, it's great for sight seeing, but when you want a burst of power, you're still...

When you hit the throttle, this bike digs holes!I've only had this bike for 4 days, but so far it can do more than any other bike I've owned(XR100 and CR80R). It has great low end torque, and will go up almost any hill in any gear. People think that CR 80's have as much power as the 230 but I could...

When you hit the throttle, this bike digs holes!I've only had this bike for 4 days, but so far it can do more than any other bike I've owned(XR100 and CR80R). It has great low end torque, and will go up almost any hill in any gear. People think that CR 80's have as much power as the 230 but I could hardly get my CR's front wheel off the ground, with the 230 a small shot of gas and you're going over backwards, and my CR80 couldn't climb any hills. The downsides to this bike are the rear suspension (it's stiff and throws you off the seat when you hit a bump), and the top end speed, it's fairly fast but I always find myself looking for a seventh gear. I rode a KLX 300R, and my bike can do anything that the 300 could do, and doesn't take 6 kicks to start! Thats all I have to say about the CRF230F, but if you wanna screw around on trails, fields, hills, and mud, then the CRF230F can get the job done.

I love this bike. As a first time rider, this bike has been perfect. The push button start and kick stand are great when riding with my young boys, to be able to stop and help them get back up on the track. My husband who has ridden motocross for 20 years even enjoys this...

This is the greatest Honda I've ever rode. It is on the border line between medium and fast. I give Honda 2 thumbs up. The bike is perfect for anyone over five feet. I can ride all day with the great shocks. The bike will last forever. It is tough! The bike is the best match for someone coming...

I can ride all day with the great shocks. The bike will last forever. It is tough! The bike is the best match for someone coming up from a smaller bike like a 50 or 100. If you are 5 ft tall you can tip toe two feet and flatten one. But overall this is a great bike and is definitely worth the money.

This bike is perfect for trails and playing around on. It's easy to handle and ultra reliable so far. No kick start sucks. It's not terribly fast either, I don't care what anyone says. Mine tops out at about 67 mph. Not slow, but not fast. Mid to high end torque is any thing but steller also....

Mine tops out at about 67 mph. Not slow, but not fast. Mid to high end torque is any thing but steller also. However this is a great bike on the trails and is plenty fast for an AVERAGE rider. If you're a moto maniac, get a true race bike, as this is slightly scaled down. It is lower then say, a 250r which makes it easier to handle for shorter riders on trails. It is cold blooded and the seat is like sitting on a brick, other than that it's great.

This is a great bike for the money! I looked at the 250, but for my needs as an occassional off road rider the 230 fits the bill. I've upgraded the rear shock and front suspension, added an LED tail light and Acerbis headlight for night riding. This is a great bike for the occassional or...

I've upgraded the rear shock and front suspension, added an LED tail light and Acerbis headlight for night riding. This is a great bike for the occassional or beginner off road rider. I have 20 years of street riding experience and feel that anyone looking for a weekender bike has found the right match with the CRF230F!

I got my 230 about a couple months ago and it is a really FUN bike to ride. The power is easy to get used to and the clutch has a nice and easy pull. Anyway, after riding a couple of months on it, there are some noticiable things wrong with it. Like the main problem is the rear drum brake! It always wears out on me. The other thing is that the suspension is a little soft but ok to live with. The last thing is the gearing. The 6 gear box is all out of whack, but can easily be fixed. Just buy a 50 tooth SideWinder trimetal back sprocket and 15 front sprocket and it improves out the power for each gear (increases top end by 10mph!). So besides all that the bike runs great, and don't get me wrong, it has some power. Personally, riding this has made me a way better rider and has put me to a level to where I could take on any 250 and when I get a little bigger for sure the 450s. Great Honda bike to have fun on.
