This is one of the best bikes I have ever ridden. I was transitioning from sport bikes to cruisers and wanted something that was American, and a good transitioning bike into the cruiser world. This bike had everything I was looking for. The riding stance is awesome and allows you to feel in total control of the bike in every circumstance. The handling is great and the power the 106 cu in engine is the best on the market. I love opening up the throttle and getting that sport bike like acceleration. I added the passenger back rest and it allows my passenger to travel with me comfortably. This is by far one of the best bikes out there and if you want something in between a full blown cruiser and a sport bike, this is the bike for you. Show less

I have been riding for over 40 years. My Shadow finally gave up the ghost in the Smokeys. I rode a demo Kingpin - 20 minutes later I owned it. It has power when you need it, comfort, great handling and smooth ride (even at 90 mph. with a ticket). It has enough to carry 2 up and gear, enough amps for 2 up, heated clothes (all pieces and turned on, momma wants to ride at 40 - that never happened before). I cannot say enough. When I retire I am going to go sell Victorys. It's just a great ride and if you test one, you will buy it. I love my bike. It has brought back a joy that I didn't know I had missed or lost. I took delivery at Thanksgiving of this bike. I've gone 3,000 miles without an issue. I've had stunning performance and great handling. Be prepared to do a lot of mini tours. Everybody loves this look! This is the mid-life crisis personified. Go buy one! Show less

It's a truly amazing bike, that you have to see to believe. If you are on the fence about this bike, see it in person and you will be sold...pictures don't do it justice. It is incredibly nimble, well balanced, and for a bike its size, eats up corners. It is a bike you find yourself sneaking back into the garage to just look at, again and again. I have been wanting this bike for two years and finally bought one during the Black Friday deals. I test drove twice when the demo truck came around and the wife and I fell in love with it the very first time. After driving for three months since November, it is very comfortable. The heated grips and seat work excellent. I have driven in temperatures as low as 23 and have kept warm. It's very comfortable and I love the low center of gravity. The gear changes are solid and takes the turns/curves just great. I have yet to take the volume above 15 and that is 1/3 on the meter, and it is still loud. I have only two complaints: The audio and cruise control buttons are not back lit. It takes a little getting used to, to remember which button is which. Show less

I am a relatively new rider (two years). My first bike was a Suzuki Boulevard. It was a great bike. However, my 2012 Victory Cross Country tour is by far the best bike I have been on. I did a lot of research on the two American bikes and the Victory definitely has better value for the money. This is the first Victory and it definietly won't be the last. Sorry Harley, you didn't make the cut! I almost forgot to thank Gary, Nathan and Dan in parts and Mike in service. The team at the dealership has been tremendous - first with the purchase of my Cross Country tour. It was, I'm sure, painful for the guys but in the end it was all worth it, and thanks to Dan and Mike with getting the bike right. It turned out amazing. I would recommend the dealership and team to anybody. Show less

After owning two Harley Davidsons, I never felt that they quite fit my frame. Sure you can spend thousands more on accessories over the already steep HD MSRP to make the bike "fit you". My new hardball is a perfect fit. Expansive floor boards give me plenty of options and I have yet to drag them in a turn. It has great clearance. The bike is great just to look at but I don't buy bikes to look at. This bike has it all, cruise, ABS, huge saddlebags, 40 spoke wheels and the engine just keeps on pulling. I am convinced that Victory is a superior bike compared to HD. Ape hangers are a hoot!! AAA +++ Show less

From a Honda 350 40 years ago until now, I have owned eight motorcycles. I have wanted a Victory for seven years when one day my wife said, "just go buy what you want." Down to the dealership I went and there sat the last bike I may ever buy, a 2012 Red Cross Roads. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a bike as much as I do my Cross Roads. To say it is fun to ride is an understatement. Every time I ride I think, I can't believe how nice this bike is. Power and agility, you name it, it's got it. If you are thinking about a bike purchase give the Victory brand a look and keep on riding. God bless. Show less

It's comfortable, economical and fun to ride. ABS is a plus that has saved my life on another bike and I wouldn't do without it. It's a bit clunky on the downshift at times, but otherwise bullet proof. The only drawback is no steering lock which makes it a prime "steal me in no time" bike. don't park at a dimly lit hotel or bar. Otherwise, it's a great bike Show less

I test road everything I could and keep going back to the Cross Country Tour. It's loaded with all kinds of accessories (standard). The ride is smooth. The power is on demand, the clean look, sturdy construction - it has it all. I have owned over 15 different bikes. This bike has it all. Show less
