I am well pleased with my Intruder! This is one of the cleanest and sharpest looking v twins on the road. Nice factory paint and dripping with chrome, I can park it next to any v twin cruiser out there and walk away grinning while they gape and wonder why they bought overpriced "american iron". Though I havn't done any custom work to it (yet), and its 4 years old, it sits there and looks brand new and shiny. Sadly though, it's hard to find accessories for it. The only thing I find wrong with it is for my height I wish the seat was about 2 inches farther back. Never fear though, I have found a custom chopper kit and solo seat that will solve the seat problem and trick this already awsome bike into a truly unforgettable one.

Numerous people all over the web have stated what an awesome machine this is, you have no idea what this machine is capable of until you actually ride it and come back with the worlds biggest smile on your face. I have a set of Hindle aftermarket pipes on mine and the sound is just unbelievable, I have to be careful about waking the neighbourhood. She is extremely powerful and pulls all the way to the 11000 redline. She is a handful to handle at slow speeds and she let's you know in a big way. This bike is not meant to be ridden slow, so I would not recommend it to the novice rider. The bike has so much torque that if you try and coast around a corner with insufficient revs, she will simply die and lock up the rear wheel, leaving a huge black streak on the pavement. The first time she did this I nearly had a heart attack and dropped it, you get used to it after a while. I recently took a 1000km trip in 13 hours and she purred along without a hassle. She gave me 5l/100km which was lighter than my friends ZX7 and my previous Interceptor, and we where not riding slowly either. A have heard a few people say that it's a poor mans Ducati, I don't think so, the TL can honestly hold it's own and give a lot of bikes a run for there money. Good value for money and will definitely put a smile on your face. Winter is going to be hard this year.

Comfort, Style, and oh yeah, runs like a psycho ape. Couldn't say enough about this bike, just picked it up a few days ago, drove it 100 miles home, and even in the rain, loved it. What an attention getter with the sexy curves and the bright color, Who wouldn't be jealous/envious? great investment for the 98 and up are the same body style, practically maintenance free. What a bike!!!

I have a 99 katana and i like it, not love it, but for the money it cant be beat.I have 2 friends with gsxr s and we drag all the time. In the 1/4 mile your looking at a difference of maybe 2 bike lengths faster ,but to me 2 bike lengths behind isn't so bad when i saved almost $3500.00,and i have a...

I've raced a few arenacrosses, where getting the holeshot is crucial, and I'm pleased to say this bike is no slacker. I've managed to get the holeshot several times in these events, against 426's, 520's and many newer machines just by opening up the throttle. As soon as the bike hits midrange it takes off like a rocket, then revs to the moon. I swear you could stay in the same gear forever. It's also got the best turning capabilities of any bike I've ridden, owing to a short wheelbase and steep head angle. This bike lives to steal the inside line, but is also happy railing the outside berm. Changing from a 48 tooth sprocket to a 50 gets it more into usable motocross gearing, I've even used a 52 when racing in tight indoor tracks. All in all this bike has a strong motor, good suspension, and makes you feel as though you're cornering on rails.

I've had this bike for around a year and a half it has 42.5k miles. Take this bike for what it is, its really well made and performs well too. A little tough to work on and my only REAL complaint is the spark plug access, you have to remove the tank or at least lift it up to get to them. I like being able to change out the chain cogs to suit my needs, its fast as hell and forgiving of mistakes, unlike larger machine that would buck you off. It takes a while but this bike will grow on you, learn how to tune it up and feed it gas, it'll last for as long as you keep it maintained. Did I mention that the gas tank is unbelievably small? carry a gas can or install a fuel cell.. One more thing, this is NOT a corner carver! Tire pressure likes to be around 38 front and 35-32psi in the rear..
