This was an amazing bike, but I outgrew it quickly. Bought it used with 6K miles, traded up less than a year later with 14K miles on the bike. I'm a pretty big guy and it didn't take long to realize that the bike is really too small for me. The Aero is SO easy to ride, but becomes pretty vanilla after a while. If you're just starting out, this is a perfect bike to learn on. It's incredibly easy to personalize/accessorize, but also very easy to spend the bike's worth on accessories. If you plan on serious touring or long distance riding involving interstate highways, this bike is really lacking. It is a beautiful little machine...easy on the eye for sure and it looks a lot bigger than it rides.

Currently own 2 Honda atvs, so Hondas are no strangers to our motoring fun. The big XR is pretty top heavy and not for a beginner or even those that are a bit out of shape. The XR is excellent, though once underway. It can sip fuel at 55 mpg and can still rage up to a three digit pace if needed. Engine is bullet proof, quiet, uses no oil, starts impeccably and vibrates very little. It is hard to believe it is a single, it is smooth and comfortable about town, and only gets tiring after a 100 miles or so in the saddle. Workmanship of paint, fit and finish is the Honda of old, with a metal tank, no oil leaks and just as tight as could be. Highly recommended on road or off.

This bike is perfect!!! I bought my bike about 3 1/2 weeks ago, and love this bike. Some people talk about the seat on the bike but I don't have a problem, it's very comfortable. The bike is very fast, so If you don't know what you're doing, be careful. I can say that the bike is a pussy cat at below 5k, but as soon as you get to the 6k and above then hold on it becomes a different bike. So if you are new to riding (like I am) then you can start on a 600RR just ride within your limits and you will be fine!!!

I can get anything on it from a 50 pound bag of dog food, to a sleeping bag on the front and a duffel bag on the back. And for long trips the back support is a Lower back saver. See the rear seat when unlocked with your key flips up! Above the muffler is a long black box it is your tool box and has a lock, also changing the seat position requires the key as that is locked. I am thinking of selling mine to buy a new Bonneville, but my wife's eyes widened. I think I found her her first bike. If you want a bike that does not look like you are on a Roman Holiday. Or a bike that does' not look like Batgirls motorcycle from the 60's. A bike that looks like it eats vespa's. Or a bike that looks like a extra from a Mad Max film. If you answered yes to all this then the Honda Big Ruckus is for you. Good Luck with it.

Okay so I went purchased a CRF 230L 8/1/09 and felt like I was riding an off-road scooter. I am 33 and it was just not for me so I traded it in and LAWWWWDDDEEEE have mercy. This bike is fast. It is my 1st 900+cc bike and it is all I could ask for in its class. I cannot find anything wrong with this bike, it's all there; -Speed!!! -Handling at low speed (parking lots) is amazing as is the handling at 125mph ;^) -Price is less than a CBR900RR starts and it looks better. IT is a unique bike and for you guys out there that need neon to be noticed; it's not for you but, it is more comfortable than any SB and what a power plant. Straight through, no gaps, no bursts; just a steady power band through 10K. I drive a 2008 Civic SI and it is nice to see that honda is not lost in VTEC world everywhere. Best looking bike outside of the customs I see and gets your respect from the cruisers and the rockets. Peace going riding.
