This bike is one of the best you can get for riding trails. It has good acceleration, and good power in all the gears. It is rather heavy, especially in the front. It is difficult to get good wheelies going but it is possible. That makes it a good hill climber though. It is very stable, and handles well, even in Florida's sugar sand. It is very quiet which will keep you left alone, a loud bike will attract a lot of attention from people who try and get you off the trails. It is kinda cold blooded but in 50 degree weather, it will start right up if you use the choke. Overall a great beginner/intermediate trail bike. Show less

The Aero was the first bike I've been on in 35 years. The last bike was a CB7504. I bought it and had to learn to ride all over again. I put over 3000 miles of nothing but curves and hills and had to put up with crazy ass locals that tailgated me at every turn while I was trying to learn to negotiate those curves. It never failed to get my 245 pounds up the highest hill and even gained in speed, sometimes in fifth gear, getting me up those hills. I wouldn't recommend trying it with a panda sized woman on the back, but with just me there was never a problem. There is only two things I don't like about the bike, the bars are too low, they pinch my knees in a hard turn left or right and it has tube type tires. The really big plus is the incredible MPG, 58 to 68 MPG. I stay away from interstates and I don't wind it out in every gear. This is on regular gas. It has a great sound with factory pipes, and after market pipes are out of the question. I'm afraid to tamper with the carb for fear of disturbing that great MPG. Great bike. Show less

This bike has got power! I needed a bike that can handle big jumps, and I found it! Before I had the crf150r, I had a crf100f, and I was bottoming out so much on that. First time I took it out I did a wheelie thruogh a small whoops section without even trying! Thanks Honda for making such a good bike! I'm sticking with Honda forever! Show less

This is my 5th bike. I get more comments on this bike than any I've owned. It really is a good looking bike. I haven't had any of the noise problems others have mentioned. For my height, it would be nice if the seat was back just a bit. I'm looking for an after market seat for it. Had it now for 3 months, ride every Saturday, and so far, this is my favorite bike. I have had my '07 1000RR for 7 months now, and I absolutely love it. I have put 4k miles on it this season, and ride this bike some for commuting and some for pleasure. It handles well, has TONS of power, and the most torque'y first gear of any of the liter bikes I've ridden. I rode the bike to Ocean City, MD a few weekends ago and was able to get 50mpg (keeping it under 75mph). The bike is a bit uncomfortable after 2 hours of continuous riding, but you aren't buying it for comfort. It does everything well and has legendary Honda reliability. I'm continuously amazed at how the CBR can take anything you throw at it. You will not be disappointed! Show less

This is third bike and can't believe I waited so long for this type of fun! Played with 6's and GSX-R 750's, but this is a whole different animal. Wants more throttle in corners, stays extremely smooth when cornering(Honda Electric Dampening System), downshifting hard with no slip or jumping, and just a ton of power. She's stays quiet until you want to wake it up around 7-8k. I don't know what else to say, you need to experience this bike! P.S. I'm buying a more comfortable seat, that's the only flaw I could find. Show less

This is my 5th bike. They have always been HONDAS. This 1300r is by far the best one so far. I just took a 3,400 mile road trip and loved it. Show less

I have ridden many bikes in my 30 years, sports bike, curisers, and dirt bikes, but this is by far the most comfortable bike that I have ridden. It has enough power to keep up with any 600 cc sports bike with a novice rider and out perform any cruiser. This is my last bike unless Honda makes a 750 cc Honda Silverwing, then I will get that to keep up with the sports bike coming out of a curves. Show less

I came back to riding bike about seven years ago after more than thirty years! In the last seven years I've had as many bikes! Decided I wanted something slower and more laid back due to my age and decided on a cruiser. Having ridden a Hornet600 for twelve months I was well impressed with Honda Bikes! So I bought a s/h 2007 shaft powered spirit AND I LOVE IT! So long as you aren't in to much of a hurry it has no faults. Low center of gravity so it's easy to hold up and plenty of torque for a smaller engine (750cc). Can't praise it enough. Many thanks to Honda and well done. Show less
