I've always wanted a Harley but always talked myself out of it to purchase a less expensive metric bike. I finally pulled the trigger and bought the 105th Anniversary FXDWG. What a difference! All the chrome is really chrome, not plastic made to look chrome like on the metric bikes. The feel, the ride, the sound, it all makes you feel like you're on motorcycle.
Now experiencing a Harley, I will never buy another brand of bike unless it's to get back on a sport bike and that will be an addition not a replacement for my Harley. Metric bikes are nice but nothing compares to being in the saddle of an American made Harley Davidson. If you want a Harley, don't make the same mistakes I did and purchase a metric bike for its cost, just pull the trigger and get what you really want.
