This is my first bike and I absolutely love it. It handles great and has a great look. It has good power, but obviously not as much as the 500 or 650. The 250 is way more comfortable than the 650 over longer periods of time. I would definitely suggest owning this bike due to its gas mileage, looks and ride. I will probably add a 650 to my collection someday, but I won't be getting rid of my 250... ever.

I have ridden across the Mojave Desert and even through the BLM. It takes everything you can throw at it and keeps smiling. On Thanksgiving '08 I rode some rocky terrain and broke a crank case cover and rode 25 miles back to camp while leaving an oil trail. I had the cover welded at work and filled the bike with oil and we are back in action. I love this bike!

I took the motorcycle safety class and received my license. I have been riding since then. This is my first bike. The bike is very fast. It does everything that I would like. I had not been on one until this one. I bought it new in 2007. I have added an undertail, slip-on exhaust, tank bra, tail light and flashed the front lights in. This bike looks very nice. I plan to jet it this riding season. It is a very nice bike for a first bike. I have logged over 13,000 miles on it. I take it everywhere including long road trips. I've done 400 miles on a one-day ride. I love this bike! Now I am thinking more power.

I got the bike bug, and let me tell you this has taken care of it. It is awesome on the road, rides so well you wouldn't even think it's a 250. Let me tell you, only the bike experts or people you tell will know what you're riding. I am having so much fun! It's the best feeling ever!

This bike features a great price, reliability, mileage and it is easy and lots of fun to ride. It does not get blown around on the highway and runs great there. I commute the thing 30 miles each way to work on most days. As a beginning rider, I love the thing and I do not see me outgrowing it... read more

It revs high at 70 mph and above and vibrates a good bit. As soon as I can, I'm going to add an overdrive pulley to decrease RPM at higher speeds. Other than that, I can find nothing else wrong with it considering the price. Fuel injection and the belt drive are great; it's almost like getting upgraded for free. It looks cool and garners a lot of compliments.
