2011 Kawasaki reviews

I first saw this model at the bike show and was hooked. I've been with Kawasaki since my teens. My last bike was an '89 ZX10. It just started to give me too many problems so I'm so glad Kawasaki came out with this style. I love the color and everywhere I stop, people tell me they like it as well. I just had to get used to riding a cruiser from a sports bike, but it didn't take long. I love the feel, I just have to get a back rest for my wife. Show less

Its a fun bike to ride. It keeps up with bigger bikes and has plenty of power. The bike is really comfortable for long rides. I ride to San Diego often and it's a little over two hours and my back isn't killing me when I get there. It's my first bike and I have had it for 10 months now. Show less

I bought this bike back in July. In three months time I logged over 5,000 miles and loved every minute of it. I had to change out the windscreen to a 11.5" CeeBailey's. The original just wasn't high enough. The wind hit me right at eye level. It has plenty of power and cruises great. It's been an awesome bike. I can't wait to get off deployment and ride it again. This is my fourth bike. It's an excellent choice for a first bike, too. It's sporty and fast, comfortable (not leaning way over the tank) easy on my back. It has super lines on it. I love to be the girl riding an awesome sporty bike!!! Show less

I've had this bike for a week now and I'm completely impressed. It has plenty of power, and is very responsive. The seat gets a bit uncomfortable after being on the saddle awhile. It looks great, I even got compliments from my die-hard Harley friends. Show less

Well I only have 400 miles on the new bike, but so far it is really good. The comfort, power and handling are great. The only thing that I would like to mention is the wind buffeting from the stock windshield. It would have been nice if they had put a little flare on the windshield to kick the air up a little, it caught me right in the face. The 12" windshield kit from Kawasaki is perfect for me. I am 6' tall and it let me still look over the top and still kept the wind off of me. Show less

It's good for all kids and adults 5 foot or over. It has great handling and suspension which is good for jumping. I also love the power. It is strong and takes off well. You can also keep it in 3rd and 4th gear and ride almost anywhere in those gears because you can go fast and still have the power to go up steep hills. It is a blast riding it and is good for all ages if you are tall enough. It's great that it has electric start so it's easy and fast. I love the bike and hope you will enjoy it like I do. My kids and I enjoy riding it. Show less

I'm still in the break in period so I have to give this bike a "5" on everything. I used to ride a GSXR 750, but hadn't ridden in a while until I got the 650R a couple of weeks ago. Ergos are perfect for me. It's been running smooth and flawless the few times I've been able to get out (still a little cold here). Overall it's a great bike I would recommend to anyone. Show less

I threw my leg over a KX250F, and ripped! First off, I thought I was too big for a 250, and until this bike, I believed I was. Second off, I had no idea the power would be so consistant throughout the rpm. range. Together the size, power and handling has made me a believer! Show less
