Review: 2023 BMW K1600B – Power, Prestige, and Pure Riding Bliss The 2023 BMW K1600B is not just a motorcycle—it’s a grand touring experience engineered for those who demand everything. It blends jaw-dropping performance with true long-distance luxury, wrapping it all in a low-slung, menacing silhouette that turns heads before the engine even starts. At its heart lies BMW’s iconic 1,649cc inline-six engine—effortless, smooth, and powerful. With torque available practically off idle, the K1600B launches with authority and cruises with grace. There’s a reason this powerplant has a cult following: it’s mechanical perfection. But the performance is only half the story. What sets the K1600B apart is the way it pampers the rider. Heated grips and seats, an electronically adjustable windscreen, reverse assist, and keyless ride are just the beginning. This bike doesn’t just get you to your destination—it elevates the entire journey. And when it comes to safety, BMW delivers in full. With Dynamic ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment), Adaptive Headlights that follow the curve of the road, Hill Start Control, ABS Pro, and Dynamic Traction Control, the K1600B is as intelligent as it is powerful. The technology works seamlessly in the background, giving you total confidence in every condition. The massive 10.25” TFT display is crystal-clear and loaded with intuitive controls—navigation, bike status, ride data—all beautifully integrated with BMW’s best-in-class interface. Then there’s the presence. The styling is unmistakable: long, low, and loaded with attitude. The K1600B isn’t flashy—it’s commanding. Since the day I bought it, not once have I ridden it without getting at least one compliment. People literally flag me down at stoplights to say how incredible this bike looks. Once, a couple rolled down their window at an intersection just to shout their admiration—she even leaned across his lap to say it herself. It’s that kind of bike. Simply put, the 2023 BMW K1600B is a rolling masterpiece. It’s what happens when no compromises are made. If you’re looking for a motorcycle that redefines luxury touring while delivering uncompromising performance and safety, this is the one.

The 2023 BMW R nineT Pure lives up to its name—delivering an unfiltered, visceral riding experience that’s as honest as it is exhilarating. From the moment you thumb the starter, the 1,170cc air/oil-cooled boxer engine comes to life with a signature rumble that hints at the performance within. With 109 horsepower and 85 lb-ft of torque on tap, this bike pulls strong through every gear and responds instantly to rider input. What makes the R nineT Pure unique—even within BMW’s heritage lineup—is its deliberate minimalism. This isn’t a bike weighed down with creature comforts or distractions. There’s no fuel gauge, no tachometer, and no riding modes to toggle through. What you get is a clean, retro-inspired dash and direct connection to the road. It’s about the ride—not the ride settings. That said, BMW doesn’t compromise where it counts. Despite its stripped-back aesthetic, the Pure is packed with modern safety tech, including ABS, traction control, and even wheelie control. The chassis is confidence-inspiring, the suspension feels dialed-in for both spirited canyon rides and relaxed cruising, and the ergonomics hit the sweet spot between sporty and comfortable. Fit and finish are classic BMW—solid, premium, and full of attention to detail. The R nineT Pure’s tank, frame, and exposed engine components are a visual treat for those who appreciate mechanical beauty and timeless design. In short, the 2023 R nineT Pure is a motorcycle for purists. It’s not trying to be everything to everyone—it’s trying to be one thing done exceptionally well: a raw, refined riding machine that reminds you why you fell in love with motorcycling in the first place. If you're looking for a modern classic with soul, performance, and just the right amount of attitude, the R nineT Pure delivers in spades.

Bought a 2023 BMW R Nine T pure brand new. On the way home there was a rattle in the tank and the engine. According to the dealer they first said to just break it in. But then when it did not go away and took it back they could not hear it. Then said that the new Euro 5 emissions cause it. What does emissions have to do with a rattle in the tank or engine? However BMW does not stand behind their product neither does the dealer. So, if you are looking for a dealer that backs their product look elsewhere. If you are looking for a manufacturer that stands behind their product look to another brand. Many times I have tried to get into a different bike with as you guessed no help from BMW or the dealer. The only reason for one star is because there is no choice for zero stars. What's more after leaving this heart felt and factual account there still will not be anyone whom cares enough to make it right. Because if they do I will change my rating if I do not then you will know what I say was truthful...
