This moped is good looking and mine goes up to 35 mph. sometimes faster down hill. Some parts are hard to find but there are companies with them. That guy who said his goes 22 mph. has something wrong with his. I recommend this moped to anyone, it is super fun and quick for a 50cc. Plus, the engine is a solid 2 stroke engine. Show less

The bike was worth what I paid. It runs great and finding local dealers with the same models to get parts from is easy if I ever need it. I've driven it for about a thousand miles and I actually get better than 100mpg on a 1 gallon tank. It looks cool and it starts every time. Show less

I drive 20 miles one way in stop-and-go city driving. The Sundiro performs well. Her top speed is 50 mph when going downhill with the wind. I have had to repair two things since I got her. She only had 3500km on the odometer. The first was the vacuum line from the engine to the fuel pump. The second was the drive belt. This belt must be pretty flimsy it must be checked every 2000 km. These Mantis's are still avilable new even though they were dropped as of Sept. 2002 so somebody out there might still be considering buying one. This thing is incredibly weak. It will not go up hills. I don't mean that it creeps up hills slowly. I mean that it wont go up them. The automatic clutch is not adjustable on these which means that you are stuck with it as it is. The engine is very limited in power and no upgrade parts are avilable. It is not just a matter of it being 50cc - it also seems to be very limited due to carburetion. Also, some dealers say they will go 35mph but it's not true! It is 35km/h or about 22 mph, and then only on level ground. The outer scale on the speedo is km and the inner is miles, and the miles scale only goes to 30, but some dealers conveniently miss this. I recommend the Sundiro Akita instead. It has good power and upgrades are available. Show less
