I've ridden this Sportster for about 6 years now and it handles and performs beautifully. Whether you you want to cruise along at a steady pace or blast down the freeway like a sport-bike this motorcycle is happy either way. Although this bike has a double seat and rear foot-pegs the passenger comfort is fairly minimal. The exhaust note has a deep healthy sound that I love. The saddlebag capacity is fairly small, but there's room for some essentials. I recently bought a used Harley Trike, if there was room in my garage I would be keeping this Sporty. Show less

It's a great bike! My first Harley. My wife's first Harley. Then my Harley again. We've enjoyed running around locally as well as journeys all around Minnesota to Milwaukee and to Sturgis. I have had this motorcycle for almost 4 years. before buying a Harley, I thought Harley's were overrated, boy was I wrong. I totally get it. there is something truly amazing about a Harley. The sound, the feel, the power, and the history behind Harley. There is nothing like it. This motorcycle has power and then some. it is super smooth riding and comfortable. it is a beautiful cruiser. If I had more time to ride, I'd keep my Softail Slim and bagger, but I also can't stand to see them sit. Love how the slim handles... have rode lots of miles and even some gravel, hard to beat that!!! Show less

I am the second owner of the bike. I purchased the bike about a year ago with roughly 2,500 miles on it. Immediately took the bike to New River Harley Davidson to do a full inspection, maintenance, change all fluids, and replace the rear tire with oem tire. The bike also has aftermarket Vance and Hines Exhaust. Bike does has 10,834 miles on it currently and is scheduled for a 10k mile service at the Harley Dealership next month. The bike is in immaculate condition and selling is the absolute last thing I won't to do. My family is growing and that it the only reason. I do have both keys to the bike, the original owners manual, and the original owners service guide. I do still have the embroidered 100th anniversary passenger seat as well as the badged 100th anniversary windshield. Show less

Easy riding Harley ultra classic with all the bells and whistles. Full package hard saddle bags. Most of the miles were road trips between Midwest and Arizona. Windshield pockets are added and two helmets included. Show less

This bike has been a dream! All services have been done regularly. The tires and battery were replaced in 2023. The only reason I am selling is due to I bought a new bike. I have owned this bike for 5 1/2 years. I have rode it to bikes, blues, and barbeque, Branson Missouri and back several times. It has never failed me! Show less

I recently had the unfortunate experience of owning a 2008 Harley Road King, and it pains me to say that it has been nothing short of a headache on two wheels. The combination of chronic electrical issues, particularly battery drain and bad ground problems, has turned what should have been an enjoyable riding experience into a constant struggle. Frequent visits to the dealership and specialized mechanics drained my wallet faster than the battery on this ill-fated machine. The combination of high parts costs and labor charges made routine maintenance feel like a financial burden, turning what should be a joyous pastime into a regrettable expense.
