11,000 miles on mine in the first year. City bike, afternoon county road bike, sport touring bike, drag bike even, it does it all. Reliably. Not relaibility issues. The bike runs better and better as the miles pile on. Handling is beyond my level of skill. Power is excellent. Added a PCIII, a...

The bike runs better and better as the miles pile on. Handling is beyond my level of skill. Power is excellent. Added a PCIII, a aftermarket full system for a 900RR and intake mods - bike dyno'ed at over 106HP and had a mile wide torque curve.

A lot more fun to ride than a cruiser, much more comfortable than a sportbike. Lots of torque and killer power in the mid-range where you need it most often. Cheaper than most bikes, cheap insurance too. Bottom Line: Very fun bike that makes me smile whether I'm commuting or riding in the north...

I have done everything on this bike. I have put a windshield on it and ridden several thousand miles on a trip, I have chased sports bikes through the NC countryside, I have gotten poser cred parking in front of outdoor cafes, I have blown every sports car I've come up against into the weeds. This bike is very good at a lot of different things. The throttle takes some getting used to as it is a bit abrupt. I have done nothing but change the oil, brake pads, etc... and I have 17K miles on this thing. Buy it, you won't regret it!

This bike screams, is easy to handle, purrs like a kitten, is extremely quick, easy to clean, and even has great insurance rates! Honda claims it isn't for everyone, but it definitely is right for me. Chrome and polish do little for me. 130 mph at the crack of my wrist (that's all I've dared to try...

Honda claims it isn't for everyone, but it definitely is right for me. Chrome and polish do little for me. 130 mph at the crack of my wrist (that's all I've dared to try so far, with apparent room for more) puts a smile on my face every time. A dream come true. I could have paid a lot more for much less.

Overall a great bike. Went from a Ducati Monster to this particular bike. The gearbox is smooth and make riding really easy. My only comments are the lack of Honda made accessories like seat cowls, winshields etc. The greatest thing about the old Ducati is that you could add accessories to personalize to your liking. The 919 has the potiential, but no accessories available so far. There are a lot of cheap looking accessories out there and think carefully before you purchase. Some are not quite as good as they look.

It’s not cheap. You certainly can find other bikes for less that essentially do the same thing, but then they aren’t a Honda. The 919 (AKA: CB900F, 900Hornet) just feels right. It’s not as fast as most crotch rockets, but then it’s not designed to be. It has a nice upright...

It’s not cheap. You certainly can find other bikes for less that essentially do the same thing, but then they aren’t a Honda. The 919 (AKA: CB900F, 900Hornet) just feels right. It’s not as fast as most crotch rockets, but then it’s not designed to be. It has a nice upright seating position that allows you to quickly slide off the seat if you really want to cut a curve, but also lends itself to just cruising around on a sunny day. The throttle is a tad touchy, but not annoyingly so. The clutch and brakes are quickly mastered and the bikes geometry and handling are all Honda. Don’t get me wrong, the bikes got guts, 80 mph is only a quick twist of the wrist in any gear outside of 1st. In a word the bike is just FUN.

Hard for someone like me to give a review. Last motorcycle: 92 Katana 750. This thing is a rocket with intense response on the throttle. Handling is awesome. No regrets!!! Awesome look of a retro bike mixed with crotch-rocket sleak shape that gives a new meaning to the phrase, "ground...

I have been asked if the bike goes fast. The problem is not going fast, but it's trying to stay the speed limit. The 919 is great for riding through town, very agile and responsive, as well as screaming down the freeway. I highly recommend this bike for anyone who wants something sporty, without the bulk of a gas tank under your chest. The only thing I would change is the seat. After riding all day, your butt will be a little sore, but that is only if you've been on the bike for a few hours straight. The 919 is extremely quick and stable. I've gone 100 mph and didn't realize it because it felt like I was going 65 mph. There is not much to this bike, and that is what makes it so great. Just put gas in it and go. I go about 140-150 miles before my gas light comes on. This bike will do everything you want it to and then some. Just remember, be safe cause stupid hurts.
