This bike has surpassed all my expectations. It's comfortable, smooth, quick and looks great. I am fairly new to sport bike riding and being a very stable bike its great to learn on but... I can tell there is tons of power that I haven't even gotten to yet. I picked mine up the beginning of March 2004 and have ridden every sunny day since. If anyone has any ideas of good rides in the lower mainland or day trips into the interior please email me. I'm also looking for people to ride with around here.

It gets between 40-45 mpg (depending upon your driving style). The motorcycle has good horsepower from about 5500rpm up to 12,500. Very reliable. The seat could have been made a little softer, but that is why I am going to put a gel insert on it. I had the gauge up to 162mph; it just takes the bike awhile to get up to speed after you hit 130mph or so.

As a sport rider for over 20 years, I've owned bikes such as the Suzuki GSX-R750, Honda VFR750, Kawasaki Ninja 600R and the venerable Kawasaki EX500. As far as off-the-line jump, roll-on acceleration, flickability and long-term comfort, this is the best bike I've ever owned. It still looks mean...

As far as off-the-line jump, roll-on acceleration, flickability and long-term comfort, this is the best bike I've ever owned. It still looks mean and I can still slide the rear end and manage a 3rd gear wheelie without lying on the gas tank. Maybe it's my oompa loompa height but I don't get uncomfortable after long rides. However, I have to tiptoe at stops due to the high chair. For us old folks, this is the one.

I've been on a bunch of bikes, and this one is nearly perfect. It doesn't have the torque of some bigger bikes, but it keeps up just fine if you tach it up into the red zone (which it loves!) I've been on a bunch of bikes, and this one is nearly perfect. It doesn't have the torque of some bigger bikes, but it keeps up just fine if you tach it up into the red zone (which it loves!) The adjustable suspension gives you all the play a normal rider needs, and you can set it up for whatever riding style you like. The bike has always given me a lot of confidence, with great feedback and feeling of control. The riding position is not as aggressive as the R6 or GSX-R, so you can ride it all day without any trouble. I rode mine 9hrs to Maine one Friday night, and got up Saturday to ride all day again. It was awesome the whole time. I love this motorcycle!

This bike is fast but the handling could use a little work. It wheelies through first gear and second or third depending on what part of power band it's hitting. I can't wait to step up to a larger version of the CBR next summer.

The stock exhaust canister was not throaty enough, so I purchased a Two Brothers Racing pipe (TBR is a Honda Specific tuner) and cured the problem. Anyone wanna give up theirs for my wife? Lol.

This bike is great for around town driving, and is fun for the occasional wheely and such, but I would not recommend it for long distance driving. The seat is horrible. Corbin makes a nice replacement seat though that totally fixes the rider/machine ergonomics...
