And test drove numerous ones and road couple of my buddies throughout the years. But not one of them out of couple dozen I've rode in my life. Compare to my 2003 Honda VTX 1800s. It handles great it rides smooth and a Powers just amazing. It demands respect. I love my bike I get compliments on it everywhere I go if I'm on my bike I pull in somewhere not once did I not get a compliment on it. If you get a chance to test drive a 2003 Honda VTX 1800s do not pass it down. I promise you it will not be a waste of time. Go jump on one and I guarantee you won't want to give her back. Safe travels y'all

It's low center of gravity and seat height makes it extremely easy to handle for beginners and short people. It's extremely fuel efficient, about 65 city and 50 hwy. The only negative is the seat and short windshield. Upgrade those two items and it will be great. The drop down bar doesn't list the700 faired model which is what I'm reviewing.

The ctx700 is a great bike for beginners, short people ladies and seniors. This bike has one of the lowest center of gravity you'll find. Not a fan of forward controls but with floorboards added makes it not as far of a stretch. The seat is junk. Your bum will start burning around 60 miles into the ride. As a commuter bike it is great. Average 65 mpg in town. This is a budget bike and it shows. All plastic motorcycle. Seating position is excellent. For me it's about 25hp short of being fun. As a learner or commuter bike you can't go wrong.

The bike was used as my backup bike to my 2015 Yamaha V-Star 950) and I would use it to commute to work (100 mile round trip). In October of 2021 I totaled my Yamaha V-Star ( hit a deer at 50 miles per hour). Since then the Honda 750 has been my only bike and she how has over 25,000 on her. The Honda Aero is a very good overall machine capable of doing 80 miles per hour all day. The Yamaha 950 is in my opinion the next level up and was a exceptional machine. My Honda 750 has a windshield, mustang seat, bags, sissy bar, floorboards and large trunk bag. I consider my Honda to be my miniature Road King and a lot of complements on her. I retire in 2 years and will get myself a new bike as a retirement gift. I will keep the Honda 750 because it’s an overall very good bike with really excellent gas mileage. However, I will be buying a larger touring bike maybe a used 2017 Yamaha 1300 Deluxe ( last year made) or maybe even my dream bike a newer used HD Heritage classic.
