I thought I was going to be a weekend rider, I'm hooked. 8,000 miles in 10 months, I ride anytime it's above 40 degrees and dry. My wife and I each bought '09 Shadow's last year, and go on mini vacations all the time now. They pay for themselves with the gas savings. The seat and cruise control really make long rides more enjoyable. Show less

I have a 2003 black and grey Shadow 750 deluxe. This bike has good power, sharp lines and beautiful chrome everywhere. Honda Shadows are exceptional bikes, very reliable and real head turners. People mistake them for Harleys. I would buy a Shadow again. It is too bad that Honda stopped making the Ace. I am sure that they would still have the following that they had before. Show less

Choosing this bike was one of the best decisions I ever made. 60-62 mpg. is wonderful, especially with the gas prices continually rising. I have had no problems whatsoever with the bike. Just keep up with the maintenance and this gem should last 20 years! Show less

I purchased my 2005 Aero a month ago with 1400 miles on it. After 300 miles of riding in the past 30 days, I really like this bike. It is no rocket ship, but it is pretty peppy and everything about it is smooth. I bought it with the Vance and Hines pipes and a hypercharger already installed and it sounds great. The seat gets a little uncomfortable after an hour or so. I can't wait to get a Mustang seat in the near future. I'm happy with the bike for the cash I paid for it Show less

I bought this bike from the orignal owner who said he never had to any thing to it but replace the battery and tires and regular maintenance. A lot of its life has been spent in Florida and Ohio. It still looks nearly new, shiny chrome and perfect candy red paint. It still runs and rides great. It's a very nice and well built bike, loads of fun. My only complaint is, I am 69 years old and the seat is a little uncomfortable for me. If you can find a nice one buy it. You won't be sorry. PS. I also have a 2004 Yamaha 1100 Silverado with Mustang seats, hard bags and trunk and a lot of extras for long rides. Show less

This bike handles better than any other bike I've ever ridden. It fits me like a glove. The ride is very comfortable, and it has ample power for a cruiser. It's great looking, too! Its a shame that Honda quit making it. If you can find a used one, it's the best bike for the money. Show less

It is a great overall bike, nice tourer and commuter - very sharp, black with snake skin decals. It's smooth and has enough power for me. This is my fourth bike in 12 years of riding. I'm comfortable in the city and the highway. I get lots of positive comments at red lights about this bike. Show less

I just got back into riding after about two years. I looked at a lot of bikes, new and used. I bought this 2009 brand new with zero miles. I took it on a 100-mile ride this weekend, and it was just awesome. The ride had a lot of country roads, with lots of twists and turns, exactly what I needed to get comfortable with this bike. It runs great, handles great. This is a keeper! Show less

It's just a great all-around bike. I commute to work 10 miles each way. It's real easy to handle on the city streets. while getting an average of 53 mpg. On the weekends I have taken several day trips of 200+ miles. Combine this versatility with that bullet proof reputation of a Honda, and I know I've got a bike that will keep me happy for years to come. Show less
